RodgersAkpafu:Bro, there are riff raffs too in Canada, in fact, dem plenty from the agents who sold visitor visas to thousands of people and told them to declare asylum on arrival, those who got student visas and never attended school to declare asylum, to even pastors who bribed police in Nigeria to declare them wanted for asylum claims in canada, in fact right now I heard over 30,000 who are to be deported officially are missing inside canada so there are mad people everywhere as far as humans are involved. Just like the UK, Canada opened the floodgates and welcomed all manner of people; in fact, if you think London is overrun with immigrants, just go to Toronto, and you'll think you're in an Asian country. It's what it is Even right now, some have been exposed to doing the business of birth tourism for people and also telling people inside Canada who are waiting for PR to use that route, so everywhere blur bro. |

Goke7:I agree BUT the vast majority of entrants into Canada (the old stock) up to say 2019 were mostly people that entered via express entry, or genuine student professionals who transitioned into professional life When we look the numbers Riff raffs on both sides But ill wager UK has more of the riff raffs But I get where you coming from The. earlier Canada (and by extension, the UK) chase out all the undesirables via decisive policies the better for us all Cos our collective rep is at stake here So you are right PS Omo, ur 30k figure up there IS WILD |

| Re: Living In The Uk-life Of An Immigrant (part 3) by Goke7: 4:04pm On Nov 27, 2025 |
RodgersAkpafu:The 30k is no joke; that is, those whose refugee claims have been rejected, while over 300,000 are still being processed! Canada opened the floodgates to get their share of the Boris wave UK market and even allowed those with visitor visas to switch to other categories inside Canada until it was stopped last year, so there were lots of people with visitor visas and student visas filing asylum claims after being duped by agents promising them heaven and earth when they got into Canada. The faster visa processing for the UK made it more popular than Canada till Canada also hastens up their processing times. |

Hello All, Please what’s the most recent position for Nigerian passport holders travelling from UK to Nigeria using Lufthansa, KLM or Air France? Is a visa required for layover/stop at the respective airports? I will appreciate it if any one with recent update/experience can share. |
| Re: Living In The Uk-life Of An Immigrant (part 3) by thaotech: 9:54pm On Nov 27, 2025 |
Hwy9:Hello, I used Air France to Nigeria a few weeks ago and no transit visa was required. I know someone who also used KLM and it was hitch-free. However, I can't speak for Lufthansa. |

HustlaOfLagos:Well, some people here said migrants will still stay even if they are told to wait 20 years. Enough said, we will find out next year if the rule is implemented as is. Interestingly illegal migration and asylum seeker on government support is up. Unemployment is up, taxes are up, pressure on the welfare budget is up, homelessness is up, government borrowing is up...yet legal migration which is blamed for it by the politicians is sharply down. Regardless expect the tories and reform to continue the onslaught on migrants being the cause of the problems in the country |

Life’s a great balancing act. As immigrants, we need safety nets too and urgently. Note that Nigeria entered that list of particular concern again October 31, 2025 (bad and incompetent leadership delivers the same value anywhere). The US (State Department and Trump) are now calling mass migration an “existential threat”. The implication is that pervasive anti-immigration policies are about to be birthed. Folks, start working on your safety nets today as even the UK may not be safe much longer. It will be bad and will wreck immigrants. We would be shocked. The fatal shooting of the 2 service people with the National Guard will really spur very bitter and very ill intentioned anti-immigration policies. Please start asking yourselves really hard questions and assessing various what-if scenarios so you are prepared for the worst case scenario. The worst thing that can happen to anyone is to be caught unawares like many are with the 10+1 and 15+1 policies in the UK.

I no understand what's going on here, una write big big English grammar and vocabularies take confuse man pikin... wetin happen eh? No be survival all of us dey again? To be honest, i hate it with passion when some set of people feels that they deserve the good life more than any group or category. Just because you feel you are more opportune than others perhaps an excellent academician or from a rich background hence you are entitled to good life by default. What's your definition of riff raffs? In this case every immigrant is a riff raff irrespective of the avenue or type of visa you migrated with. You bagged first class with 100% scholarship does not and will never translate to entitlement for a good life in another man's country infact to be fair, excellent and outstanding scholars are the most needed back home, you have no reason to migrate in the first place. You should be at the front lines utilising your expertise in the country and not the other way round. Riff raff indeed? Like one claimed, if truly the COS immigrants or the poorly assessed MSc student immigrants are tagged riff raff then we all are riff raff in another man's country and this includes if it was your 3rd generational parents that migrated abroad, it simply means they, including you are products of "riff raff-lisation" We can only say there are different levels of riff raffs I hate it when people write out of jealousy or hatred, not out of concern... Some of the oldies are questioning why are visas being given out at this rate? Coz only you wants to be called ndi obodo oyibo maybe the average family member would contest with you financially or will no longer depend on you as the mini god perhaps would find out that you are also surviving in the system, reason you want the riff raffs to remian back home? Dey play that you had first sight or were opportuned doesn't not make others stupid. I can tell you for free that whoever that completely paid for his/her MSc studies just to migrate with his dependants should be classified above average citizens if you understand the financial obligation. People in their millions cannot afford it or will kill to have the same opportunity. (Person way get degree, get money to pay join don turn riff raff - nothing way Musa no go hear for gate) Do you know the population of illiterate, poor and unemployed people back home? Do you know the figures? This not to say there are no bad elements that are painting our images bad besides it is not only NIUK, riff raffs has always been in existence from time immemorial, by this i mean, our focus should be on a crime free activities not challenging the process of which ones visa was granted. Is it your country? Are you wiser than them? If you are, then fix your home country. They needed help, created an opportunity, people who could afford it, jumped on it and they have been working tireletirelessly, contributing to the growth of the economy, paying taxes etc Can you fill those spaces? You don't want them abi you blaming the system for allowing them. God bless every hardworking immigrants anywhere in the world YOU ARE NOT FOOLISH SIR! YOU ARE NOT A RIFF RAFF SIR! Please stay out of crime and make us proud by representing us well... |

Not to sound like a broken record here but below is Trump's tweet on Twitter! Immigration will get VERY tough for folks from developing countries! A very Happy Thanksgiving salutation to all of our Great American Citizens and Patriots who have been so nice in allowing our Country to be divided, disrupted, carved up, murdered, beaten, mugged, and laughed at, along with certain other foolish countries throughout the World, for being “Politically Correct,” and just plain STUPID, when it comes to Immigration. The official United States Foreign population stands at 53 million people (Census), most of which are on welfare, from failed nations, or from prisons, mental institutions, gangs, or drug cartels. They and their children are supported through massive payments from Patriotic American Citizens who, because of their beautiful hearts, do not want to openly complain or cause trouble in any way, shape, or form. They put up with what has happened to our Country, but it’s eating them alive to do so! A migrant earning $30,000 with a green card will get roughly $50,000 in yearly benefits for their family. The real migrant population is much higher. This refugee burden is the leading cause of social dysfunction in America, something that did not exist after World War II (Failed schools, high crime, urban decay, overcrowded hospitals, housing shortages, and large deficits, etc.). As an example, hundreds of thousands of refugees from Somalia are completely taking over the once great State of Minnesota. Somalian gangs are roving the streets looking for “prey” as our wonderful people stay locked in their apartments and houses hoping against hope that they will be left alone. The seriously retarded Governor of Minnesota, Tim Walz, does nothing, either through fear, incompetence, or both, while the worst “Congressman/woman” in our Country, Ilhan Omar, always wrapped in her swaddling hijab, and who probably came into the U.S.A. illegally in that you are not allowed to marry your brother, does nothing but hatefully complain about our Country, its Constitution, and how “badly” she is treated, when her place of origin is a decadent, backward, and crime ridden nation, which is essentially not even a country for lack of Government, Military, Police, schools, etc. Even as we have progressed technologically, Immigration Policy has eroded those gains and living conditions for many. I will permanently pause migration from all Third World Countries to allow the U.S. system to fully recover, terminate all of the millions of Biden illegal admissions, including those signed by Sleepy Joe Biden’s Autopen, and remove anyone who is not a net asset to the United States, or is incapable of loving our Country, end all Federal benefits and subsidies to noncitizens of our Country, denaturalize migrants who undermine domestic tranquility, and deport any Foreign National who is a public charge, security risk, or non-compatible with Western Civilization. These goals will be pursued with the aim of achieving a major reduction in illegal and disruptive populations, including those admitted through an unauthorized and illegal Autopen approval process. Only REVERSE MIGRATION can fully cure this situation. Other than that, HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO ALL, except those that hate, steal, murder, and destroy everything that America stands for — You won’t be here for long! |

Fred2020:There is a 99.99% chance that the policies will be implemented as is One day, they will sit down and admit that leaving the EU was a big mistake and they will politely ask / beg to rejoin EU used to be the problem, now its immigrants from developing countries and then God knows what will be blamed next |
