I took an Indian lady and a white British out for a date here in England at different times and both ladies preferred we split the bills at each time but at a different occasion I took a Nigerian lady out for a date she just sat quite and wanted me to settle all the bills including her take away.
Is this a cultural thing for Nigerian ladies that a man is supposed to pay for everything ??

Splitting of bills is not cultural. It is a new phenomenon that is more obtainable in western climes and practiced by those who ascribe to those particular ideas.

The norm remains that the man pay for the date. Next time ask the lady if she is open to splitting bills if that is what you want.
