Only Monday will not send the message and give the necessary public attention.

At least 3 days- Monday, Wednesday and Friday should be the standard. When the South East economy grinds to an halt, it will send a clear message to both local and international stakeholders.

Just a day in an entire week practically does nothing.

You are pained. Igbos know who their leaders are. If you like cry till tomorrow
The country is already imploding. It will happen in your very own eyes. Just a matter of time. There is no peace without justice

People are sitting at home due to fear .

When I tell Onitsha people that Awka people no longer sit at home on Mondays , they hardly believe it.

Even some communities in Anambra no dey sit at home. Even though these communities have been threatened severally but the people are too resilient and I love them for that. I won't mention the communities here coz we have unknown GM here on these forum.

Souldo have cancelled sit at home in Anambra and I support him with my whole heart

Continue living with this sense of insecurity—because sooner or later, you may be required to present special documentation just to move within your own country, as people begin to assume you pose a security risk, much like how certain groups today face automatic suspicion in public spaces.

Now imagine the implications of such policies for a people whose population is widely dispersed beyond their homeland… It would reshape their future, their business prospects, their opportunities, and even the legacies they hope to build. Think.

And if you believe that Igboho has no significant support base in the South-West, you are mistaken. But when push comes to shove, SW people choose to prioritize their long-term future and stability over any momentary sentiments.

This is seriously affecting Tinubu because his shops and businesses are close. I have never seen a set of gullible people like this beside those that gives their Pastors Tithes and Offerings to help them buy Mansions out of the ones Jesus reserved for them in Heaven

Re: Nnamdi Kanu: Monday Sit At Home Bites Harder In Aba- Picture by Jakumo(m):
Wonderment. So even after Kanu has been made a guest of the state in jail, his gunmen continue to inflict terror on his own people in Igboland.

If only Kanu the terrorist financier were bright enough to rehabilitate his image in a bid to seek redemption and perhaps even a reduction in the length of his prison sentence, he would send urgent messages to his cult followers from his jail cell, asking for his infernal "sit-at-home" reign of terror be ended once and for all, so that Igbo people could once again enjoy freedom of movement that is the cornerstone of democracy.

Sadly, Mr. Kanu is NOT a very intelligent man, so he sits like a contented dimwit in his jail cell delivering his nonsensical rambling speeches to the rats and roaches that keep him company during his solitary confinement, without a care in the world about the ongoing repression of human rights that is STILL persisting in Igboland, wreaking ruination on the regional economy and terrorizing the populace.

Fear is what is making people comply with the sit at home, after the brutal killings to enforce it in the early days. Now people are just afraid and being cautious.
It is not love for Nnamdi Kanu, its not belief in Biafra, its not solidarity with Ipob, its just fear.
Same thing is happening up north, when the bandits roll into town, people cheering are doing so out of fear. You need to show that you support them, that you admire them, in the hope they won't turn on you and attack you

Let me tell you, you’re wrong. 3 days will not get your people their desired attention & results from the FG.

The best thing is to make it 7-Days Sit-At-Home, since the 5-Southeastern States are the primary economic hub of Nigeria.

Nigeria can never thrive without those States and will collapse inevitably.

You do not interrupt your sworn-enemies when they are working in your favor. grin

Only the Igbo economy and mostly Igbo livelihood is affected
It has never moved any major action and it won’t
What will help is when Nigerians speak with one voice
