Honestly I don't know.
I have withdrawn our application and applying afresh.
it's no point waiting for appeal.
When the package came back, it is same way I sent it.
Not touched, not opened after 2 months o..

So you will be applying again for January intake??
Is there still time for processing for January intake cause I think I will withdraw my application and apply afresh since my school now say it has an April intake… This people are just crazy and I hear their holiday break starts on the 20th of December till like second week of January

Just explain the way u are explaining now. Explain anything above 500k. Thanks

Bills2307:
Good day everyone. Please I will appreciate an answer! Now my problem is in the statement of account stuff and lump sum explanation. I earn 150k monthly but recently a family friend sent me 500k with remark of financial aid. And there’s are some months I borrowed friends like 700k and 300k which was already repaid back to the same account in just few days interval. So now, considering I earn 150k monthly so those 500k, 700k and even the 300k are considered lump sum. My question is, so I’d be explaining those lump sums. How do I explain that I borrowed my friend money? Or the financial aid stuff?

If 9ja good, you no need to Dey explain all this transactional borrowing and repaying back. This is a normal something that can happen in anyone’s current / savings account, whether home or broad.

Please does anyone have the link to any active groupchats for irish stamp d study visa.

The silence is making me very anxious.

Both from the embassy and people cry

Almost as if we are only 5 nigerians that applied for study visa.

I really cannot find any information on any social media in regards to the visa
It’s because there’s no information out there about anything. I have gone through TikTok, insta and even twitter to just see someone that got visa from Ireland but I couldn’t find any. Know a lot of friend that are also waiting for response for fresh application and appeal… I guess people are just trying not to think about it

bigmills:
Was it appeal you sent in or fresh application?
Fresh application.

Since september 24th 2025, nothing.

I have emailed them twice and they send the same generic response.

I swear down

Almost as if no nigerians have applied this year to study in ireland , all i see are advertisement to come and study in ireland cry

This is very bad

The only reason i chose ireland was because my friend told me she got her visa in 3 weeks last year against her september session resumption.

I wonder what is happening this year.

It's usually like that before, visa decision comes out early. I got my initial visa decision in August and I applied late June but now seeing someone who has gotten decision since that August is now a huge task and this people are not rushing themselves based on the number of lists they release every Monday.

Most of you experiencing delay, sorry to tell you it was because if your brothers and sister already in Ireland for study purpose and most of them are claiming asylum. They are trying to reduce study route application from Nigeria because if this act

I applied in april 2025 against February 2026 resumption in griffith college dublin. Got my admission that same april and started preperations for visa same april, gathered money, wrote english test and did all necessary processes.

I applied for my visa in september 2025 thinking id get it by october, buy ticket against early january so i can go and hustle accommodation before school starts.

This is December and nothing, I cant make any plans at the moment cause i dont know what they are doing again.

I have spoken to the school about visa application withdrawal and they said they will refund the tuition deposit but theyd take a few deductions but i should please exercise patience with the embassy.
