I am not a meaty person, so i prefer seafoods, crabs, crayfish and fish. then vegetables, alot of vegetables and fruits. i love rice too.

@damiso, Veges are good if you can eat and enjoy it. I don't envy you all at. The veg in you meals too much for me Sha. I wonder when I will start enjoying eating Veges.

I replace portion of my carbs with protein and fruits.

The fruit sef I dey select.

Basmati rice.Its called Asli.Its lighter than easy cook rice but sort of has the consistency of easy cook rice.For some odd reason i now find it difficult eating easy cook(you know the type we eat in Nigeria called Aroso).I find it heavy and starchy.Can manage long grain but find that its wierd as fried or jollof rice.

Yeah i know but sweet corn is my daughter's best veg so she will eat cos of it.You dont want to know what i have gone through with that gal to make her eat .

No am not o i wish .I just try to watch portions and ratio of food and calories(gosh i am sounding like a health nut )
But seriously am size 14 after my second pregnancy orobo.Want to go back to my size 10/12 and am useless with diets.So the best way to go about it is to watch my diet and portion sizes.Also want to make my daughter used to a varied diet and not coco pops alone(which is all she will eat if you allow her).

But se you people did not see my puff puff .Health nuts dont eat puff puff.

me too i love shrimps. Not that t.itty bitty or frozen ones. You know those fresh/huge shrimps .
I love african smoked shrimp sauce for rice/yam with lots of ata/habenero pepper.

You people should leave Damiso jor, me I love plenty of veggies in my food- carrots, corn, zucchini, peppers, spinach etc etc.

Cool. I also don't use the regular naija rice, I use Jasmine rice.
