One of my signatures, Mediterranean fish soup for dinner. Red snapper, crabs couscous and prawns. Got my monthly veggies fresh from farms in Jos so there was eggplant, bell peppers of all colors, onions, leeks, carrots, etc. Paired great with the avocados. Dumb fresh, dumb healthy and dumb 😋

Oh yeah, how did I forget the avocado.

probably haven't travelled much.

This combo is normal in most parts of
Nigeria, especially Western Nigeria, where
stew is standard with any type of soup.

Yeah, I knew I shouldn't have started making pizza. The kids have declared Sundays "Pizza Sunday" and Grandpa really liked the shrimp pizza🙆🏾‍♀️
All fresh ingredients and the basil was grown on our balcony by middle daughter😊

Oooohhhh lol. It was fillet chunks! Couple of chunks stayed intact on the left but at one point middle child asked to help stir and broke up all the chunks lol. Most of what you see is actually fish🤣

Took this one with my tablet when heating up leftovers for hubby, put in a chunk instead of fillet because he likes fish head.

Seriously though, I looked up how but the type/quantity of fresh milk required is not worth the time and cost here. Might try it when I'm back in Houston though😁

Tonight was lamb necks braised in a garlic-wine sauce with cheesy mashed potatoes and steamed broccoli. The Rasta was more than happy to eat leftover soup from yesterday😃

Oh, Ok! I wanted to suggest the idea to my sisters, but I guess I didn't consider that milk might not be as available down there as I had imagined. Being able to make your own pizza, cheese, yoghurt, among other things, I imagined would save them a lot of money.

Oh yeah, I make my own yoghurt and cheese here. It is so much cheaper that way.
