However, this Bible verse prescribed a dressing code for gender distinction. There is the foreknowledge of God that a weird age is coming where men would be dissatisfied with being men, and having operations to become women. They are not merely dissatisfied, they have to take pleasure in wearing dresses and make-up, making disorderliness and junk out of the natural law of order...”

After a lot of deep digging and revision, people figured out that the rule actually meant women shouldn't wear clothing that was already worn or used by a man—and the other way around.

If we stuck to the original, super strict interpretation, practically every Christian would be sinning because nobody wears those old Hebrew-style gowns anymore! Plus, remember the Bible was first edited by King Tudor and written in old English, which caused a ton of confusion among scholars. Luckily, we're finally starting to get much clearer on the meaning now.

Yes, that is the meaning. Imagine wearing a boxer short used by a lady, it will defile the man. Due to her monthly flow. And a woman should not take the one a man is using. Men Avoiding Monthly flow Defilement was the target of that law.
