O How does marriage benefit men for crying out loud? The whole marriage arrangement is rather a societal set up against men! It places a lot of responsibilities on the man's shoulders! He's responsible for his wife and offsprings! He has to work his azz off to fend for his family. He also caters to the needs of his wife's family as well.

Then just at the time he is done training his children in school, death might take him away while the woman in most cases lives to enjoy all the goodies by their children. Even when the man is not dead, children often shower all the love and attention on their mother while the father is left to die of loneliness in the name of being a man.

When a man gets married, his wife automatically becomes his cook, dry cleaner, house maid, nanny, and compulsory sex mate. She then risks her life to give him a baby that will answer his name, and continue his lineage.

On the other hand, the woman gets nothing. And their desperation to get married is because the jobless and archaic men we have in our society are always marriage shaming women.

The marriage institution was necessary to protect society. What we have today is the result of letting women go freely and do as they want or wish. Left to women, they could go on having children for 6-7 men without thinking about the consequences. Women do not like men who keep to structure because it checks their 'freedom'. Women are the source of life on earth so men figured that the society needs to protect this privilege if the owners don't know the importance of what they carry in their wombs.

There are tools to make your life easy....Hoovers, dishwashers, washing machines, microwave/airfryers, wireless scrubbers, solar systems instead of hand-pulled generators, etc and even domestic staff (drivers, cleaners, private security, janitors, gatemen, personal chefs etc) to operate all these...so its you and your husband's choice.
