Good day, fellas. How many of us can relate? Those days when Christmas used to be Christmas with food dispatch riders were ever ready to deliver but now everything don cast. It's so sad that things have changed.

The truth is, if you show up at someone’s house these days without an invitation, you won't need a prophet to tell you it’s time to leave. The atmosphere alone will communicate it. Christmas has shifted from being a season for 'family and friends' to strictly 'immediate family.'

The traditions we grew up with are clearly dying out. You don’t see the rush for Christmas souvenirs anymore, and kids aren't even excited about those vintage eyeglasses, watches, and 'pastoral' outfits we used to value. Even the decorations are disappearing from the streets.

It’s obvious the economy has forced everyone to rethink things. People still have the spirit of celebration, but once they calculate what life will look like in January, they immediately reset to default mode. Christmas used to be the ultimate time for bonding, but now, it’s becoming as quiet and unnoticed as a regular Boxing Day.

No matter why you do try to remember your pastor and bless him so that the new year would favour you.
