Dangote outlayed about $20 billion on the refinery facility, and later purchased about 4,000 ($470 million) CNG powered trucks.

I believe his anticipation was to significantly carry the refining and supply chain load of the downstream sector of Nigeria's oil and gas.

In my opinion, Dangote obviously saw that NNPC and the regulatory authority kept circumventing his plan despite spending such huge sum. He said " I am fighting for my survival".

That's what made him become so radical and restless.

For me, he didn't do proper feasibility study before buying that much trucks, despite the concerns that lead to the need for it.

Also, it is also very wrong for Dangote to be flagging Farouk's family matters in such a business context. Afterall, all of them have dirty linen.

Every Nigerian funded the Dangote refinery project via CBN's FX subsidies and virtually COT free transactions on his accounts. Don't let's go into the means of his capital acquisitions.

He needs to be careful, because Tinubu can be unpredictable and won't allow Dangote to have his way unchecked as previous leaders.
