The issue is not who brought what, the issue is how Nature intended things. Here is how Nature intended things: A man marries a woman or several women and also has concubines. He goes to their houses to get them pregnant and provide as much as he can and be a father figure to the children . Nature did not intend lineage to be through him but through the mothers. That's the only reliable real lineage there can be. "Children of one father" is dubious, "children of one mother" is NOT!

I am SURE my mother's mother is her mother and so forth, going all the way back to the beginning. But I'm not sure mother's father or anybody's father is their father. Gives you an idea what Nature intended!
