Eventually he asked my cousin to tell me he wanted to be my boyfriend, I was excited that a dark, intelligent and handsome young man wanted me to be he’s girlfriend. But I wanted him to asked me out himself so I told my cousin to tell him to ask me himself. He ask me and I said yes, I never asked him questions because I assumed my cousin knew him, I was so naive, I was love struck too I guess. I don’t know he’s surname, just knew that he’s dad was rumoured to be a doctor. Ope had a neighbour son ayo malik (on ig is name was @maliksamsudeen, which I FOLLOW on ig) who he was friends with from the yintab summer lessons.

One day after summer lessons was over I was told someone was looking for me, it was Ope he came to sultan bello, ikorodu looking for me with a gift. I was so excited to see him and I kissed him. With excitement I told him to wait let me tell my aunt a great mistake I made.
I broke eventually went outside and broke up with him after what my aunt said, I should have continued seing him even if I had to hide. Our relationship ended before it even blossomed because of family interference. Even though i was staying with my aunt at that time and her boy children were always trying to sleep with me, she did nothing about that. i was told I couldn’t have ope as a boyfriend. And that her daughters don’t have a boyfriend why should i.
I didn’t get the chance to explain to ope why I broke up with him, he too looked upset I was young and emotional and not asking the right questions to be able to find him now.

I am currently in Ireland and I have been dreaming for ope since 2019, I tried looking for Ayo who was a neighbour child that attended the summer lessons, who became friends with ope (who gave ope directions to my aunt house where he came looking for me with a gift) I was told he was dead.

But besides that, I find this situation rather puzzling. A number of ladies I have met have had a relationship that never really took off. Like it started off with immense energy and infatuation and shortly after, it died for different reasons, usually relocation, lost contact or famiily issues.

The problem is these ladies continue with the last thoughts and memories of that infatuation phase when they didn't get the chance to enter a mature relationship wiith this person where they would have seen the not so good side when the iniital excitement has subsided. They also use this relationship as a yardstick to measure every other relationship they get into for years to come, some even for ever.

I have seen this situation in both young and old women. Some was during high scool extra classes where kds on hlidays come to a new town and leave once holidays are over. Or ladies on youth service who meet their crush every CDS day and never see after POP. Or gorwn women who meet a Mr perfect shortly before they relocate and lose contact.

Its their future partners that usually suffer the problem. Please ladies, that guy is not the Mr Perfect you assume him to be, you never got enough time to see his 'other side'.
