Even those that went all the way with the whole treatment including blood transfusion many still gave up.

Oh man, cancer have stages coupled with cancer stigmatization, it depends on the stage her's was or is as the case maybe. But cancer is too bad, I don't wish anyone cancer at all.

You heard wrong I guess, it must have been a child the stupid parents wanted to kill with their dumb religious belief, some areas in nigeria already have such laws.

Only Jehovah witness hold that belief. And their believe hurts them only, not any other. You CANNOT compare them to Islam fundamentalists or non fundamentalist in whatever form who see shedding innocent blood as a duty to their god.

There is what we call autonomy in medical practice. You can only transfuse blood in this case if it's an emergency AND the person doesn't have what we call capacity to accept or decline treatment. Even with this, you have the family to contend with. It is not a that straight forward decision by medical personels. It is easier to transfuse if it was a minor in an emergency.

If your reason for refusing blood transfusion and losing your life, is because "God would be offended", you are of all men, the most fooolish. 😁
