Brothers, who has the number of a good AC tech. The quack I have used thus far is foolish to say the least. Everytime he touches my compressor area, the serpentine belt makes the car make noise and after yesterday, the noise became very loud and I can’t go to work with it.

I am trying to detect where my gas is leaking from.
If your S-belt is 6PK, ensure it's alligned inwards.
OEM Belt size is 7PK 2170.

I don’t think so. The AC wasn’t cooling like before and I took it to the quack. After trying to loose the compressor and couldn’t , he tightened everything and the belt started making noise when put on drive or reverse.
Hmmmmm, this is strange.
Something must be wrong for the noise to come up, maybe one of the rollers developed fault.
Take it to another person sha, I don't think it has anything to do wth the way he tightened it though.

I understand you are not regular on that axis. There are times the construction workers will barricade a whole section of the road that motorists can only get to some locations by driving through one-way.

What would you have done differently?
If u read my comments u will see where I said, "if the road is still under construction it's a different ball game" cos some sections will be closed and one way will be d approved passage. But now that the road has been opened from Ogombo to VI on both lanes. It's a No No.

You come across as very un-empathetic. As long as you are in this country, and actively driving, It is just a matter of time before you become a victim of the intentional traps of these enforcement agents on the road
Un-empathetic? Sorry not for things like this.
Not when we all have had or heard or seen very negative consequences of one way driving. I am particularly very upset with people who pass one-way just because the normal road has traffic, or the turning is far. It's dangerous to other road users and they a capable of blocking d lane completely.

I didn't say I am perfect or I haven't been caught by law enforcement before but I will not be claiming right, or claiming victim, or seeking sympathy or getting upset with someone correcting me.
If Its a honest mistake or out of ignorance, I definitely will be sympathetic.
Many of the things law enforcement will harass u for are very common sense things.
Let's be different from korope and danfo drivers, don't let your rider push u to break the law.
Avoid problems

That road is a proper highway, there can't be many Uturns on it.

I am of the opinion that, if you are not going far ,you don't have any business on that road

By the way, one will think life will be easier for female drivers on these e-hailing platforms but walahi na lie.

I've been going from Magodo to Sangotedo almost three times a week since October and I would always want to pick a passenger on indrive basically to atleast make up for fuel.
I swear, it's the most difficult thing to do ever. grin
The way these guys will outrightly refuse to hop in the car is almost funny and belittling. It's worse when the passengers are fellow women sef. grin

Back to back cancelation... na even now wey drivers no fit handle the available orders naim some dey begrudgingly agree to ride along.
This work na for men them.
Interesting. But I remember a guy posting a documentary here about Uber driving in lagos, and there were 2 female drivers in that documentary, and they didnt complain much...I think one did complain that the only issue she had was with her fellow females who didn't think she could do the job properly. Maybe you look too elegant and they're scared grin

If I may ask, what car do you drive?

First, learn to make comments without insulting people, that is one thing we must learn on this thread, don't show arrogance in your comment.
I could have bottled what happened to me without posting it here. But I brought it here to save others. Stop making people look like a fool when then fall into traps.

If you're conversant with that road, first, it was Map that led us to the one way and there was police as the entrance of the supposed ones way who checked the car and also searched the passanger. The funny thing i had Early passed the same place 3 times before the extorted.

But anyway, make everyone Sha learn from other's ordeal. But please, make your comment without insulting people..
You need to look up the meaning of the word insult.... Then come back to the comment.

Keep deceiving yourself, what's the primary reason why most people japa if not for a greener pasture purpose, oh you wanted to say for exposure or security reason or education? Your advice to japa is from greener pasture perspective which I consider to be a misplace priority for me if decided to Incline to such pathway as it doesn't fit in to my personality and life purpose, everyone with diverse individual life trajectory.

if you're not seeing Nigeria a place to achieve greatness or make an exploit, then you've genuine reason to travel or japa to a country that you're spiritually gravitate towards or believe.

As in ehn, if not for our bad government, Naija is one of the coolest places to be. Asides from Eastern Europe which is cold and very racist, the rest of Europe is a mess especially UK with their terrible PM and that Mayor of London. The crimes are increasing daily at an alarming rate due to influx of satanic jihadist sympathisers from Middle East, North Africa and Pakistan, even US was on the brink of collapse if not for the timely emergence of Trump, their borders was porous and major cities were not safe, abeg make we rest, if you get a winning strategy in Nigeria that make you a billionaire, what are you looking for outside if not for vacation, even healthcare as a billionaire or a relatively rich person, you can afford first class medical services. Abeg abeg!

Sighs, you simpleton. The concept of what i said is bewildering to you abi? No worry, when you touch money, good money, you'll see there's more to life than money....travel out, i don't mean ghana oh, go to proper state, the Switzerland I'm talking about, you can look it up on YouTube, you'll get a glimpse of what it is like to live, being a billionaire in Nigeria only makes you comfortable, quality of air alone in lagos is dangerous level, if you decide to be law abiding, you'll suffer with ur billions.... Endless traffic, stray bullet, abductions, terrible government policies, list goes on.... The only reason billionaires stay is becus they take advantage of the lawlessness, but then again, you can't grasp that abi.? That's why you think all there is to life is money. Yeye man, do you know how many multi millionaires left this country to start from scratch? Why do you think they did it? To start fresh dey sweet person abi? You can't force a blind man to see.... A Promising young man in awka, selling fish, on the verge of great breakthrough, them carry am, na so he kpai, countless stories of Nigeria ruining people, including me, you dey here dey here dey yarn dust. A country wey uber man dey out earn 70% of graduate, na country be that? With ur degree and certifications, dem go dey pay you 150 to 200k...billionaire but outside ur gate a thugs for Ikoyi, billionaire but you go dey buy diesel everyday or pay for comfort one other way. Any billionaire that chooses to live full time in Nigeria, na him sabi.... But I'm telling you say I'll rather live pay check to pay check in a country of my choosing, you dey vomit, as how..

Like i said, when Nigeria do you something, you'll understand my comment much later in life, i hope nothing makes you understand it sha. Goodluck.

This guy decided to run the compressor wire directly when I told him to just make the proper wiring firm so it will stop disengaging when I drive long on bad roads.

Now the compressor isn’t picking and I spent the whole of yesterday in his workshop. The electrician he called said the compressor needs a thermostat to work. Omoo!!! My car is still parked there and hopes of going to work today looks thin.

Well, I no get issue with that as long as they're going to increase their base fare by 60%.
