Never believed in an academy player more than him. This is why we all have to collectively join hands to swear for that boy for what he did. And the club too for being too chicken shît to offer some protection to him and for letting him go after all the dust settled

He is the best academy talent we have produced in the time i have been watching the academy closely. In the premier league era, only Ravel Morrison and Giggs were at that level but i didn't get to see those ones in detail.

I am not sure how much the club could have done after the fact. Their job (and that of his parents) was to instil the right values in him and prevent him turning out the way he did

After the incident, their hands were tied. If you doubt it, try go to RedCafe (largest Man Utd fan forum with a lot of influential UK members) and post comments supporting Greenwood and see how long it takes before they block your account.

The civil war would have wrecked the club. Many of the vocal and influential UK-based members do not see the case the way many international fans see it.
