Stop changing narrative

Actions of Azikiwe, Aguiyi Ironsi, Ojukwu contributed for Igbo hatred, and now Kanu.

Azikiwe made sure he frustrated Awolowo, by forming alliance with north.(Yoruba hatred)

Ironsi killed many Hausa and Fulani elites, (Hausa hatred)

Ojukwu led civil war (whole Nigeria hatred)

Kanu insulting Nigeria (whole Nigeria hatred)
Exactly. They're so full of hate and even among themselves they can't thrive together. If they disintegrate from Nigeria they will really suffer and run away from that their biafra to other places to survive

Only the deluded and confused constantly point accusing fingers at others for problems they created themselves.
It makes no sense to claim everyone hates you while playing the victim at every turn. At some point, accountability must replace self-pity.

The moment you understand why Nigeria is the way it is today, you will be seeking the dissolution if you really love to have a country that works, except you don't seek to have a country that works...
But this is IMPOSSIBLE. Why not work towards somethings that is at least possible.
There is no consensus among any group (even Igbos) that there be separation. How do you separate people who don't want to be separated?

Crying and playing the victim card is a sure way to remain insignificant in any society. They always blame others fir their failures in life. Simply pathetic.
Did I hear you called Igbos failure, go back to the drawing board here in Nigeria check if there is tribe anywhere who succeed in this country more than Igbos.

....all he rightly claimed would've been needless if the appeal for the inclusion of cessation clause in the country's constitution was not opposed by his kinsman when a fellow Southerner who had foreseen the future raised it...
obawinner:
Don't Igbos get tired always seeking victims?

-Was it the British that made you lose the south south alliance?

-Was it the British that made azikwe contesting head of state in South West this leaving his own region bereft of quality leadership?

-Were you not the first president?

-Were you not the first of alot of development in Nigeria so much that your leader boasted of being the one to save the black man race?

-Was it the British that sponsored the massive brain drain of the south east to other regions which still happens till date?

- Was it the British that made you reject the secession clause that could have allowed you shaped your region destiny?

-zik and ojukwu ruined your destiny in the 90s, you allowed Nnamdi kanu ruined it in the 20s.

Your leaders took a lot of senseless decisions and miss strategic decisions pre independence of which the pains you will inherit till tommrow.

I like the direction in which Nigeria is moving towards. If you poll 1000 American is right now if they like where Amerca is, I can guarantee you that 60 percent will say no.
Almost no country in the world right now is perfect. What's important is making sure that the right policies are in place for the long haul.
Nigeria is finally moving towards the kind of economy that we have in the US and other advanced countries. It eill take time ,but we cannot go back to the old voodoo economy of trial and error that was practiced before Tinubu came onboard.

Igbos should stop the victim game. We should accept that our fathers all made mistakes that has led to what the country is today and forge a new dawn.

Re: How British Colonial Policies Entrenched Lifelong Discrimination Against Igbos by Ayokequeen(m): 12:25pm On Dec 29, 2025
The number one problem of Igbos is the love of money and that's what kept them in the position they are till date. Igbos don't give a f××k about their own blood when they see money. Tell me how do they want to succeed in their collective aspirations? That's why this idea of Biafra can never work because whoever is in power will understand their weakness and will use that to scatter them.

Tell that lie to the uninformed and gullible people. Igbos are not the most successful people in Nigeria. Success is subjective, what do you call successful?

If we use money to define Success, you are not number one.
If we use quality of life, satisfaction of life and overall joy of life, you are far from being successful.
If we use your place in society and overall satisfaction of life, you are not where close to being the most successful.
Success in life is not just about building one big house in a village with one fake title and making noise all the place. Money is not everything and even with money, you are not the richest.

The Author failed to mention poor performance of Governors of the Five South East States since 1999.

The current Governor of Imo State was awarded contract to build Sea Port in Calabar so that South Easterners will benefit from it. He looted the funds and did nothing.
EFCC was investigating him but he decamped to APC and all his sins were forgiven.

For good 16 years, former Governors of Abia State Orji Uzor Kalu and Ikpeazu looted the State dry. Companies began relocating from Aba (Taiwan of Africa) to Lagos due to poor infrastructure and high crime.

The same igbo people that once dominated the military.

The same igbo people whose son was the first president of Nigeria (Nnamdi Azikiwe).

The same igbo people whose another son was the first military president of Nigeria (Aguiyi Ironsi).

The same igbo people whose son was a former vice president of Nigeria.

The same igbo people who have produced about 5 senate presidents of Nigeria (Okadigbo, wabara, anyim pius, etc).

The same igbo people that were the beneficiary of Jonathan government.

The same igbo people that were the beneficiary of Obasanjo government.

The same igbo people that single handedly truncated regional government in the 1960s.

The same igbo people now crying marginalization grin grin

Haba, be calming down igbo people grin grin

A failed attempt at history revisionism will not work.

He conveniently avoided the violent murder of political leaders of other regions while sparing their own.

They decapitated the political elite of the whole Northern region. Till date, the Northern region has not recovered from the brutality they suffered which is still responsible for the failire of the Northern region to catch up as they didn’t have their own 1st republic leaders to steer them to compete fairly with the southern region.

Let's not even go to how avarice led late Col. Ojukwu to covet Lagos to the point of leading his army's attempt to run down the western region and destroy it in order to take over Lagos. This was after they have looted all the banks in their region and almost annihilated the minorities in the defunct Eastern Nigeria region.

Below is one of the pictures of the late Northern Premier on a dangerous boat trip to inspect the ongoing Kanji Dam that was in the works to generate electricity to power development in the North among many lofty dreams he had for his Northern region. He was violently murdered in a SE-led bloody coup along with Chief S.L Akintọla, the Premier of the Western region, etc.

It's preposterous that the region that killed other regions' leaders and almost annihilated others could today claim to be victims. Smh.

You have failed again.
