Hello I am trying to set up the best free to air peace of mind for somebody.

The TV got an inbuilt decoder with port labelled DVB-S/S2

What is the best outdoor antenna to get some digital channels even if na christian channels?

Possible reasons: Existing GOTV and DStv subscription keeps repeating same program every other day for 365 days and the circle continues 😂
I don't know if you are an experienced installer but you can install 26°E/28°E for your client. If you are an experienced installer, then get a 90cm dish and install 26°E/28°E as primary. Then add 16°E and 42.5°E as secondary. Happy hunting.

Cband and KU band setup for 68E with one LNB - Part 1
Re: Free To Air Satellite Tv General Thread by adubam(m): 12:41am On Jan 18

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GqzSIdvGzJk?si=aK-_ap7i_fne-RAf

NEW VIDEO

The video demonstrates how to track both C-band and KU-band signals from the Intelsat 20 satellite at 68E using a dual-band LNB (Low Noise Block downconverter) (0:00). The coverage of this satellite extends across Asia, Africa, and Europe (0:10).

The video covers:
KU Band Tracking: The presenter initially tracks the KU band using the frequency 12722 vertical and a symbol rate of 30000 (1:06). They explain that if it's difficult to combine both, one can track with the KU band first, then remove its holder and place the C-band holder (1:35).
Dual LNB for Combined Signals: The main aim is to use a single dual LNB that has both KU and C bands to combine both signals, allowing access to more channels across Africa, Europe, and Asia without needing two separate dishes (2:12, 3:10, 3:35).
C Band Tracking: The C band is tracked using a frequency of 4064 horizontal and a symbol rate of 19850 (5:34).
Dish Setup and Adjustment: The video shows the physical setup of a 2.4-meter dish (9:24) and highlights the importance of the LNB holder's position for optimal signal reception (8:01). Fine-tuning adjustments are crucial for getting more channels (3:55, 4:07).
Connecting Dual LNB Output: After the final setup, two chords emerge from the dual LNB—one for the C band and one for the KU band. These are then connected to a diseqc switch (4:55) which then goes to the receiver (5:28).
Channel Search: The video demonstrates a blind search for channels on both KU and C bands, showcasing some channels like Eye Dost and Al Jazeera (3:02, 6:54, 11:02, 12:12).

I really appreciate the efforts of all the gurus who have resurfaced recently. Your absence was felt. I can't quantify the knowledge I acquired from your satelite dish installation tutorials. Thank you!!! FTA Viva,!!!

Good evening, sir. What exactly does someone interested in getting free-to-air stations have to do? Like, what specific decoders and dishes must be gotten?
