What is your issue? I can't understand. Did anyone ask or force you to attend crossover Service? As you didn't attend have you solved all your Nigerian problems? Faith is a personal issue. It works for those that believe. Faith and reason don't work together. Faith looks nonsensical to those that don't believe. It's the substance of things hoped for.

For your information, Muslims do not engage in crossover because it's not in our texts to do so.

I've vowed never to go to any worship centre either mosque or church for crossover. I just woke up pressing my phone now and I will still sleep back, nothing like crossover or prayer here o, it just another day to another day, let's be guided.

If you believe in prayers, then you have to say it every day. Praying done at the beginning of a year still need to be matched with other factors to make success, just like the prayer you say in the middle of the year.

Prayer is prayer and where you say it does not really matter. Your heart and your own input are all that matter.

People will still die this year, whether they crossed over at the church or not.

My mother died in the middle of 2011. She went for crossover in the church at the beginning of 2011. During the crossover, we prayed for health and long life. My mom had an accident in March. Died in June.

Muslims don't believe in going to mosque to congregate, pray and cross over into a new year.

It matter for me because I only attend church once in a year which is on the 31st of December after that no church again because I don't believe in any pastor except Jesus Christ which means I talk to my God at home every blessed day

Cus for anything to be new in my eyes, I expect the new year for my street to be filled with gold and silver. For every roads to be paved and concrete. For every house to be new and all that. But I wake up to see same things I saw ystday while I went to sleep with no changes, and you expect me to say happy new month or year.
It's out of respect I say happy new month or year to my bosses or my elders. And I am not the one to say it first, if you tell me I tell you same.
The only thing that changes from December and January is the name and from what year to another year is number. 2025 just changed to 2026. One number change

The January - December calendar is for official purpose, it binds on both Muslim, christian and traditional worshipers.
Islam has it's own calendar called Hijrah. It guides all spiritual events of Muslims, presently, we are in the month of Rajab, 7th month, so you can't celebrate end of the month in the 7th month

That's just it, nothing special attached to it.
