MA was September intake, left since

First biometrics 4th of August, received multiple nsf mails, no visa, application was withdrawn

fresh application 11th of December, visa approval today 29th of December.

Do you know why they waited? Was there any reasons for the wait? Cos I know someone in same situation, he was only asked to pay additional IHS fee even though he paid before, they said it wasn't enough, ever since then, Silence 🤐

Do you have any suggestions please?

I am a female please lol and yes I got my visa almost 2 weeks ago, but the family in question is my aunt, she left in September while her family waited and this is their testimony. I pray everyone waiting will also get theirs in Jesus name

I actually did. Although I had excess but withdrew from the money when I needed it. I was worried cos I submitted the bank statement twice.

So u had to top it back to d original amount b4 resubmitting d statement,, right?

Please did the person get his/her visa decision I’m in similar situation I was asked to add up to my ihs payment since 22 Dec till now no responds

I will appreciate if anyone that as similar experience should kindly help out here

People wey apply third week of December don see alert.

Lastly December na always peak time and staff also needs to travel for Christmas

I want to drop my testimony here to encourage anybody who might be in the verge of losing hope or questioning the efficacy of God's mercy. I started UK school application in the year 2022. This period there was Form A and exchange reate was below 500 naira. I could not go through because of circumstance of life, which made it very difficult for me to achieve my goal. I kept on trying and never gave up for one day. In the course of strugle please keep good friends and do not underate any man i in life because you cannot tell where your help will come from. fast forward to today am in UK. There aremany people who has been following this trend and have gotten their success story and I encourage you to stick around.

no additional document required but delayed till november 2nd. I cancelled the application. My IHS fee was refunded but visa money gone.
I wrote to school for defferrment to January with reasons of delay in Visa response. the requested for evidence and double checked on their own end. My new offer letter was issued and new CAS after the CAS shield interveiw.

2nd Appplication
standard visa
Dec 9th 2025 biometrics
visa approval dec 12 2025. No additional documents were required.

my school didn't release CAS till Dec 1st. It was on their website, that CAS for Jan intake is till dec 1st . I believe for those that applied since 4th, they will soon get a response.

If that be d case,,all schools should start from February and not put unnecessary pressure on applicants and visa staff

Na make people dey shine eyes.
Releasing it 1month before resumption is too tight.
Flight tickets a month before especially in September /January session they skyrocket.
I hope your school go amend their policy because 1month to resumption is too near.

I know most University go they give student hope that things can be done within 2weeks.
Getting biometric date sef for last minute even they cost applicant more. Most school go still accept students to arrive until February sef.
Hopefully this coming weeks, outcome go many. Na to start hunting for cheapest flight and accommodation.

I landed in the U.K yesterday.
I was able to get an Airpeace flight for 498 pound (1078000 Naira). Not expensive, for a festive period.

Questions asked at the POE:
I scanned through all the POE officers, they were all smiling, nice and polite. I landed at Gatwick. I heard they are more friendly than Heathrow.

Questions asked:
1. Where are you from? Nigeria
2. What are you here for? Study
3. What course? Business Mgt
4. What school?
5. Where will you be staying? School Accommodation
6. Where will you be sleeping tonight? .....

It is important you keep your response short. Do not go on a tangent, answering questions you are not asked. You will only open a can of worms for more questions. Also, they only checked my passport. I didnt bring out any file or any other document.

Most students travelling are not going to same destination. After the person land, he/she fit go search for house.

If the person needs accommodation tomorrow, that means it's urgent.
He/she can post it on their school WhatsApp group if any as other students will be interested in sharing apartment.
