The rant would have made better sense of he did it before the start of the season, going into the new season with no proper midfield and wingback signing was very fullish of Amorim. Although it came late, he still earn my respect to speaking out about the poor recruitment. I dislike Yes Man Managers
I already suspected that it would end badly when we didn’t reinforce that midfield over the summer. I stressed it repeatedly on this forum.

What is concerning it that they didn’t fire him for his bad results but because he attacked them. It is looking like Amorim himself wanted to go and made his own place in the club untenable by publicly attacking his own bosses, knowing that they would have to fire him.

He was already tired, and I think it was already brewing from a while ago. I really don’t think they respected or rated him enough from the beginning, but why didn’t they go for someone they respected and rated, to start withhuh

The amount of mistakes or wrong decisions they have made within a short time is concerning.

He probably mentioned it to them, just not in public cos that might cause trouble. I’m certain if he didn’t kick back publicly about the board trying to make him a Yes Man, he’d still have his job.

Very concerning.

They are a confusing lot. They make 2 good decisions and then balance it out with 2 very bad decisions.

Leyqute:
why do we need more signings?”

After spending a lot last Summer, Man City will land Semenyo this winter. They are also going for Guehi following injuries to Ruben Dias and Gbardiol.

Man City are second, United are 6th. Man City have a much bigger, stronger and more valuable squad. Who should be asking that question?

The worst type of billionaire is an audio billionaire. After them na American billionaire.
They will ask you if we needed signings to beat wolves. 🤣

I knew this was how it would end.

When he got here I mentioned that he should resign if he was not given solid players that coming January.

Well, almost no one can leave money on the table.

Note: Anyone coming to my mentions that will talk about how we have good players, na you sabi. This comment is not for you.

How has he been faring since leaving man UTD? All this entitlement mentality from our so called legend is part of our problem.Gary Neville is always using his podcast on Sky sports to discredit coaches that comes.A man who doesn't v good coaching career dishing out instructions on how a team shud be coach.Yes Amorim has his fault but we are playing better than last season.Sixth on the table.Majority of our top players are either injured or at afcon yet we were able to get a win and two draws from our last three matches.Amorim having mouth diarrhea at a press conference is not enough to sack him.Y not wait till end of season then take yr decision.l sincerely hope this doesn't haunt us later
It's more than enough to sack brother

We conceded from way too many balls into the box

Basic things cost him his job.

Stopping crosses mostly

Not always his fault.

He was sacked not cus he wasn't winning.

Hopefully, he has learnt from whatever mistakes he made in the past.

I expect that he is coming with a bit more experience and should add more value this time around.

My concern is the board's choice at the end of the season.

I can imagine that it would be names like Maresca, Glasner, Southgate etc that would be circulating by then.

I don't understand some posts here.

I am certain that 90% of fans here wanted us to strengthen the midfield. TrebleChamp and I pushed for Amorim should speak out if the board failed to bring in a midfielder or two, but he came out to praise the midfielders he had. In fact, instead of moving some of them on, he decided to keep them. Whose fault is it? Amorim got here and started singing the praises of Mount, a player who finally let him down at a very crucial stage.

Even when we moved for a midfielder, the price was outrageous. It was here that a lot of folks barked at the price, but now y'all are asking why the board didn't sign a midfielder. Should we have paid the asking price for Baleba or sold the midfielders we had against the wishes of Amorim to fund new purchases in midfield?

If we had sold Bruno and let Casemiro leave to get new midfielders, I am sure you guys would still blame the board for it...

Ole fit do well if he add discipline to his Managerial skills, he was largely responsible for the high level of players indiscipline at United...

@Bolded,
I think they are waiting for Thomas Tuchel to finish his contract with England after the world cup in the sumner. I believe they will take a lot of time before appointing a new permanent manager considering how Ruben Amorim held their fingers in the fire and walked away with a £10 million largese.

On the other hand any logical temporary coach with flexible tactical knowledge should in the interim be able to get the present squad working in a simple formation to attain Champons league football by the end of this season.

Tuchel would be a decent choice - he has the suitable experience and profile for the job.

Only snag is that i think he could be a bit hot headed and stubborn too.

Wilcox and Berrada might also be more interested in hiring a "controllable head coach" this time around, hence the names i mentioned earlier

100%

I think the present squad is good enough for a CL spot, considering the indifferent form of our rivals

Ole na soft guy from time memorial but i expect that he has learnt a thing or 2 from his last stint at the club.

Luckily, the Garnachos, Rashfords of this world wouldnt be his headache...lol

If he comes in, maybe he go teach Sesko how to be a proper CF

.......a day he was sacked is a day I can never forget in my Life. LOL!

If we get him to do the job temporarily, until a top manager is available, no qualms. We shouldn't make another mistake with him, no matter what happens in the end - even if he wins a cup and makes UCL spot.

Seeing rumors about Luis Enrique rejecting PSG contract extension advances..

We have to go for him if it's true..It's got to be either him or Nagglesman..

I was a supporter of Amorim at the start of season, even when other concerned fans where skeptical about him.

Well a few games into the season i realized the guy is fvked.

I mean let’s be honest our squad should be in top 4 now. But bro chose not to play them to their strengths. Just look at Amad playing to his strengths at the AFCON.

If he achieve the bolded this season as interim Manager, the board should keep him as interim Manager for next season. He can be easily let go if we start getting poor result...
