Why not let your husband marry more wives!

The surrugate mother is actually the birth mother!

You are only an egg donor while your hubby the sperm donor!

The child will look like his or her biological parents. The surrogate mother is just a container housing the foetus. Nothing more, nothing less.

Yes, but a non-relative is still the child's birth mother!

That's indeed a very brilliant option (which many people should be open to using instead of being insular in thinking) since she is just 36. For any woman in terms of fertility, 36 is getting late unless you freeze your viable eggs. The older a woman gets from her late 20s right into her 40s, the faster the chromosomal damages which occur in her FAST-diminishing or limited supply of eggs. To make matters WORSE, men ALSO have chromosomal damages or mutations in the sperm as we age, so this ISN'T an exclusive female problem. Fertilizing the eggs in-vitro before implantation in the womb can ALSO help to detect any of the chromosomal abnormalities.

These genetic and chromosomal mutations lead to autism, Down Syndrome, Edwards Syndrome, Patau Syndrome, Turner Syndrome, and Klinefelter Syndrome, and other chromosomal abnormalities affecting development.

So, it's BETTER to freeze your own eggs (for women) or sperm (for men) at any accredited fertility clinic if you want more children in the near future and then use the viable eggs and sperms to have your own biological baby via a surrogate mother (who might do it for free if she is your close relative like your sister or mother, OR you pay the surrogate mother a fee of over N1.5 million in some geographical locations in Nigeria to take care of her maternity expenses and more for 9 months. According to a British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) documentary I listened to back in the early 2000s, in India alone, there's a thriving "surrogate mother" ecosystem for Europeans and others to use at a cheaper cost to have their own babies which some Indian women acting as surrogate mothers have used to lift themselves up the social and economic ladder by buying cows to produce milk, build new houses, and send their own biological kids to school).

Thank God they call them surrogate mother and based on agreement, the surrogate mother will never get involved in the baby's life. She already got paid handsomely.

It doesn’t work like that. Money falls out regarding surrogacy. Classes for handling pregnancy are not cheap. Supplements for the mother are not cheap. Maternity gowns, nko? Not cheap. I don’t have children and I have an idea of the sum required for a safe nine months.
If she carried the baby herself she would have still spent money on all these things you listed

One of the disadvantages of marrying 30+ women.
Higher risk of not being able to get pregnant, carry to term or difficult birthing.

This I've observed even with women who married early and are still birthing into their 30s and 40s.

"She is not meant to be beautiful. She is meant to be kind, true and young enough to bear children."

That line is from a movie over two and half decades ago and it still holds true today.

As if it's her faulit she's miscarrying the babies... When they preach to ladies to marry because of money some foolish ones will be talking about love and trust, atleast, you can see clearly that that other gender marries majorly for gains and not emotions.

The self acclaimed Nairaland resident "doctor" @freestuffs seems to have contrary opinions, as he strongly believes that surrogacy itself can lead to numerous health complications. He has been tagged several times to shed more light on this from his wealth of expertise, to no avail.

Some all men can also consider the option of having a second husband?

What's the essence of having a large family? And if you truly desire a large family, must you birth them all, can't you adopt some children from the millions of orphan kids scattered all over Nigeria and give them a good life?

A woman who has experienced 8 miscarriages should, in my opinion, be subjected to further medical research to know why she had 8 of them. What were the possible causes? Are they genetic? Who else in her lineage has experienced such difficulties during pregnancy? Through this research, we can determine possible causes and solutions before it continues.
