This SE side has clicked.

If the officiating is fair. Naija beats Morroco.

The most potent attack on the continent is Nigeria. Sad they hadn't reached this level during the playoff.

Even though we won, I still feel a pinch of sadness because we had the arsenal to demolish the Algerians. It is clear that Chelle sees this as the business end of the tournament and does not want to make unnecessary risks.

Well managed game by the Boss.

So because we were defensively solid, Algeria didn't test Nwabali to prepare us for Morocco

We could have even humiliated these guys today. I wish osimhen had one of those akor's chances so he could have met brahim Diaz on 5 goals

Nigeria is knocking out north African teams like they are collecting infinity stones

We beat Libya 3-0 while sleeping at the airport in the qualification if you remember all the fiasco they put up

We beat Tunisia.... putting three past them after not conceding through out their world cup qualifiers

And now Algeria... taking revenge for knocking us out in 2019

Next on our hitlist is Morocco......

My advice for them is to PRAY!!

This was an easy 5-goal game for Nigeria, but we will take the 3 points.

I am glad Zidane got to witness a Midfield Maestro in Iwobi, before he bowed out of the AFCON. He should feel so honored to witness such greatness. Dem been wan use gba kill am since tournament start.

Algeria were lucky,e for reach 7 goals. Luca Zidan didn't concede and Algeria had already scored 8 goals before they met Nigeria.

Our full backs brought their A Game. Exactly when we wanted it
Osayi was immense, a MOTM contender. Too many MOTM contenders, Osayi, Osimhen, Iwobi. Beautiful assist by Osayi.

The commentator said that "The Algerian players were only as good as they were allowed to be".
Kudos to the team.

Wow wow wow!!!! What a performance!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Eric Chelle has done a fantastic job!!!! Every single player worked their socks off and left everything on the field!!!!

I sincerely hope and pray Chelle won't be tempted with better working conditions elsewhere to leave us.

On to the next battle, against the Atlas Lions, the referee and and the fans!!!! That would be a game!!!!!
That's why Chelle took a pay cut just to coach the best African team

A big praise to Bruno Onyemachi. His jockey marking was top notch and as good as some of the top players in the game

He kept his wing so tidy and unpassable. I believe he impressed Mahrez.

Bright Osayi Samuel should take a bow. He was just outstanding. Absorbed pressure like a sponge. Showed strength and skill. Balanced offensive and defensive play.
