TheGoodJoe:
Even though we won, I still feel a pinch of sadness because we had the arsenal to demolish the Algerians. It is clear that Chelle sees this as the business end of the tournament and does not want to make unnecessary risks.

Well managed game by the Boss.
💯, we could had send them to the cleaners before halftime

I hope the NFF legal team is drafting a new contract for Chelle
If they don’t get it signed before the semis then na sabotage. Chelle can’t prove more than this to know he’s the right guy

We showed grit today ..
I was concerned that we might be too soft..
This is what having Osimhen in the game has done to our team
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by TheGoodJoe(m): 7:09pm On Jan 10
TheSuperNerd always called Osimhen a Monster Machine. Today Osimhen lived up fully to the name. Top clubs not signing Osimhen are making a big mistake. His pressing and work rate is insane. He will be an asset to any top manager that signs him.

Morocco will be our toughest opponent for sure. If they can make us play out of character they will have a chance. So far no team has been able to prevent our pressing and our taking full authority of the game. Morocco will be high intensity as usual.. pressing vs pressing. We'll see. I hope we can kill it by regulation time.. NO PKs please

lbrichman2:
That's what he was telling Lookman the other day
Today he showed it again
Lookman wastes too much time on the ball
Too many touches instead of passing the ball
Trying to dribble, you should dribble while running not when static
Pep Guardiola will not like players like that, slows team momentum
We should be demolishing teams

No single shot on target chief. Morocco should start the underground work in advance cause no matter what we won't be timid like Cameroon
Believe me
Morocco is in the planning room now
They will be trying to influence CAF with referee decisions, etc

Iwobi and Onyedika seem a telepathic connection that came to live today. As soon as they started working together, the fluidity shine. Impressed with both.

Nice work rate from Iwobi. He is really getting to understand his role.

If the NFF likes they should mess up Chelle just like they messed up Rohr and Peseiro. Useless so called "administrators" undecided

Bright Osayi Samuel should take a bow. He was just outstanding. Absorbed pressure like a sponge. Showed strength and skill. Balanced offensive and defensive play.
MOTM in my opinion

He was everywhere especially in the second half but Osayi and Bruno really surprised me today, best performance so far from the players.
