We had all it took to wash, rinse and spread the Algerians. Still a good game from us.
I also noticed something Else, Bruno seems to be looking for Osimhen head more

The only time I was angry with him was that last free kick in first half,

He should had send it into the box to cause havoc

Joebie:
Morocco will be our toughest opponent for sure. If they can make us play out of character they will have a chance. So far no team has been able to prevent our pressing and our taking full authority of the game. Morocco will be high intensity as usual.. pressing vs pressing. We'll see. I hope we can kill it by regulation time.. NO PKs please
He have more attacking threat than them. This Super Eagle play like they know they are better than you. Very high on confidence

Can we just conclude we no longer have a midfield probelm?

Even though we won, I still feel a pinch of sadness because we had the arsenal to demolish the Algerians. It is clear that Chelle sees this as the business end of the tournament and does not want to make unnecessary risks.

Well managed game by the Boss.

Lookman was sound but I think his deficiency showed more than his good work.

Lookman seems not to fully grasp the role.

On many occasions he tried to do things himself. His offensive play should come after transition, not before. There were times he released the ball late and times to pass he held the ball. Lookman fixes this and the team gets even stronger.

Expect Chelle to iron this with Lookman. Get the ball to the attackers fast and then join them in the attack.

Lookman wastes too much time on the ball
Too many touches instead of passing the ball
Trying to dribble
We should be demolishing teams
Exactly
He did that several times today

Peseiro found his working formation in the tournament. Chelle too, much better that there is no heart in mouth situation.

Let's just win this thing so our boys can have good negotiation grounds for the next transfer window

I am so impressed with Osayi today
So he can play like this
His best game for Nigeria
For me; a MOTM display. Asides, technically he was our best both defending and attacking. It was no mean feat commiting 3 different Algerians into getting yellow cards. Nlce one Osayi.

The way Morocco approached their game against Cameroon is the exact same way we approached our game today.

They won't dare try to use the same style on us, otherwise we would load them with goals.

Will FIFA not like to give us the case against DRC

Why should they miss this kind of football at WC
I think FIFA may be waiting for how AFCON turns out before making a verdict

And I'm thinking they may be based towards us now seeing that we will rep Africa better than DR Congo

One thing i know is that if we eventually win this afcon there will be an abracadabra that will take us to World Cup because these sexy passes and sweet attacks can’t be absent from the mundial and i know the eagles 🦅 might know what we don’t know and might be part of what is adding fuel to the fire coming into every game cool
