The One-word Reply Problem by Twenty8(op): 10:15pm On Jan 10
Why do some people give one-word replies during conversations? Do they think it makes them seem cool or superior, or is it simply poor communication or a lack of interest in the conversation?

More likely to the latter. Don't try to force a conversation when the other party does not seem to be up to it. 🥱🥱

You hardly hear males complain about this with fellow males. That is because we can simply dismiss the guy and continue with life. It happens mostly when we contact women. I learned to stop caring long ago. It is mostly lack of interest. Find someone else. Out of twenty women, one will reciprocate how you want. Some are already in relationships. Those ones will contact you in three years time when things fall apart. By then, you’ll be the one to reject their advance. You’d have long forgotten them.

That in bold is actually a personal conclusion of yours that really does not impact many who live outside of your mind there. Not opening up to one's thoughts and opinions confidently also opens you up to those who will see you finish and think to impose their own ideas on you. This is not a case of doing it one way is the best way to go, but more a case of choose your own poison and live with the consequences. 🥱🥱

It is used to keep peoples excitement in check bro...

Some people begin to misbehave once they get a little attention...

Limit interaction to limit see finish bro..

Perhaps they fear you suffer "attitude incontinence" triggered by too much availability or been made comfortable... Hence the feedback you're receiving

Lack of communication skills and also, they want you to ask the ultimate question”Babe what’s wrong” so they can answer with”I’m not okay” then you know what’s next..

Get a hold of yourself and stop bothering people .

There are better things to do than reminisce about some mediocre subroutine.

She's not into you. Delete her number and move on. When a girl is into you, you'll know!

Women can't hide it or pretend when they are into a guy. From their chats, calls , texts and body language you'll know

Sometimes limiting interaction is just a way to keep excitement in check. Too much attention can make some people misbehave, so distance becomes a form of control. It’s not personal—just fear of what too much comfort or availability might trigger.

I'm not bothered which gender does it. What bothers me is people using what is supposed to make connection and communication easier — using it to bring distance and contempt.

Then maybe it's better to cut those people off from your life.

Cut them off and continue with life. There are more important things to tackle. When they’re ready, they will adjust.

If a woman, she doesn't like you. DON'T force it because it will only end in premium tears for you. Just delete her and her number from your memory.

If others, they are not interested in the conversation.
