At some point Amorim's fanboys have to accept that he's gone. He won't be coming back. No point referring to him anymore. Time to look forward.
As simple as ABC. We should be looking at our options for the interim role instead of reading posts from those sympathetic to Amorim...

I finally see your problem. Comprehension. If this useless statement of yours is not tackled you will carry it as evidence that someone said Fred and McTom were the deal.

Let me just trash it before you let this lie you want to peddle go far.

Your statement is a big lie sir.
Haha, were you not comparing Ugarte to McFred now? Saying McFred are better. Loool.

Which one is basic football
In their youth setup do they book them for that?
Basic football knowledge mean say he doesn't need to be a senior squad member to know that.

Even small boys wey dey watch ball for viewing centers know say angry reactions dey attract card, especially to slam ball for ground.

Lacey just allowed his emotion to get the better of him. Na inexperience. He knew it was an offence. He just wasn't able to control himself.

Hindsight...
Which one is hindsight?

You said some people said we were replacing players for worse players.

Now, can you beat your chest and and say Ugarte was better Fred?

Is that statement not true if you can't defend Ugarte?

Cunha is doing all that because he feels there's no one to replace him.

Mount should compete with him for a starting spot just as Malacia should be given an opportunity to nail down that LB spot. Dorgu has had his chances and fluffed it.

Hopefully, the same thing happens on the right when Mazraoui gets back. Dalot is just brainless.
Cunha seems to be so bad, he doesnt appear to be an upgrade on Garnacho if we are to be honest with ourselves.

Mount was one of the poorest players on the pitch in that 1st half and was rightly substituted.

The team performance in that 2nd half was dreadful.

Aside Dorgu’s technical limitations, it also appears his Football IQ is quite low.

Shaw should be starting at LB IMO, while we try Maz at RB again.

Fletcher looked confused on that touchline...lol.

This is what the benefit of hindsight can do...When McFred was here, we all said they were not good enough for the club. I'd like for people to give their honest opinion when a player is bought and not come here months later to lament when in all honesty, they celebrated the purchase of the player when he arrived.
I did not celebrate Ugarte. I actually warned that he was severely limited.

Apart from that it is ingenuous of you to expect fans to properly assess a player from YouTube highlights or 1-2 games they have seen of a player compared to when the player is playing week in week out for their team.

Having said that, even from the YouTube highlights it was clear to some that Ugarte was thrash but you championed him here. That goes to show you that nobody is infallible. Fans are allowed to change their minds on a player when they get more data on the player.

There is a reason you guys are saying that all the players are bad, someone even mentioned three/five at the back after we were 2 nil down. Honestly, just pack your bags and leave with Amorim.

Maybe we should try 541 formation since 343 and 433 didn't work.

Meanwhile I've not heard anything about this match being at old Trafford
The coach should also consider playing Mainoo and yoot players next time

Lol, again, I remember when people celebrated the sale of Garnacho and were happy when Cunha was signed. Where the bad belle reach ehn, they were monitoring Garnacho’s performances at Chelsea and dropping posts here to celebrate whenever he had stinkers. Someone that has left us o. Very toxic fans!

His unceremonious dismissal remains a bitter pill in their mouths and has somewhat resulted in a sickness they might never recover from grin

Away from their obsession with their failed manager, what are your thoughts on the game today?

Disappointing performance, i must say.

As it is, we just need to manage to grind out results till the end of the season.

Some transfers have not worked out the way we expected

We have seen it before with Van Gaal, Ole and now, Amorim. The fans will complain about a coach but once he is axed, a section of the fan base will start asking why he wasn't given more time.

The other day, I saw people saying the players we brought in a worse than the ones we let go and I shook my head. People are so forgetful on here.

Have Ugarte performed better than any of our past Mids?

We lost Fred, McTom, Pogba midfield and got Casemiro, Ugarte, Gbamrabat🤣🤣 Can even mention Mount cos I no know where him dey play now.

After proper assessment I can make conclusions.

This even buttresses the fact that the club board and staff don't do due diligence when signing players.

Are you sure you're following the argument? You can't start saying a player is bad now because you have the benefit of hindsight when he was signed to replace a player you said said was bad. You might not have supported his purchase but you supported that of Sancho before and he came in and struggle.

My point is not to say that people shouldn't be happy over a new signing but that you should not say a new signing is trash compared to the player he replaced when you were here criticising the ex-player while he was here. An instance here is Hojlund who was heavily criticised when he was here, with majority supporting that he should be moved on. Imagine seeing people saying Sesko is not better than Hojlund as if anyone could have predicted same when Sesko was signed.

Hopefully they support the next coach with better recruitment. Of course we won't get everything right but if 3 out of 4 turns out good, we're doing something right

This, and hopefully we are lucky with manager appointment to ensure we can use well whatever resources we have or acquire. This is key. A bad McTom was a beast under Mou and is doing well under Conte.

I know nothing about football and players. Rightly so. That's why I'm not employed by any club.

The people who know should do their job.

Because I know nothing about making phones means I should accept any defaults that came with the phone. I bought?

Where did you get that law from. If a player is trash you have a right to say he is thrash. Whether the previous player was thrash is inconsequential.

Otherwise we can as well say that you can’t say ETH is thrash because you were criticising Ole. Or you can’t say Amorim is thrash because you were criticising ETH. Or you can’t say INEOS is thrash cos you were criticising Woodward.

You assess each situation on its merits. Even the club management who made the mistake and replaced thrash player with thrash player sometimes concede that player 2 is thrash and bin him, why can’t fans do the same when it wasn’t the fans who made the mistake.
