Where there's no investment there's no risk. That's why it easy for her to walk away. If she was expected to make financial contributions towards the marriage ceremony she would have open up to the man that the marriage will not work so no need to waste money.
Solid point right here. Reason one man said, women are more loyal to their sacrifices than their feelings.

Apart from the fact that she allowed the young man to waste his money on preparing for a wedding ceremony that was likely not to exceed beyond lintel level,I don't think it's a wise idea for anyone to choose societal pressure over his/her own peace of mind..

But then,I don't completely believe this story......There must be an ex who's unwilling to let go..
Sometimes you just have to blame the persons making decisions to dignify these things to the point of accepting such trash!

She is already married as long as she has done traditional marriage ceremony.
Even if the marriage did not work, she made a mistake bringing this issue to social media as this will prevent her from getting a serious man to marry in future

I find her actions incredibly childish, because she knew well before the wedding that she didn’t want to marry him, but she waited until the last minute to make that known. I think she wasted many people’s precious time and resources.
If you don't know your fiance well enough to know she could disappear on the wedding day, is there any point entering the marriage? Same person you called quits with before and came back

You act like it’s only the man she let down! I’m talking about her family, her guests, people who took time and resources away from themselves to represent her. That’s childish asf! Cancel the wedding in advance or stay and talk to your guests. Running away is not what an adult does.

if I'm the guy you will pay tire, this is emotional fraud, you knew you don't want him yet made go through stress of wedding preparation and financial stress involved. I will sue you legally and the other way round.

Later when she starts having problems of getting a man to settle with, she will be blaming innocent Satan. Anyway, I blamed the foolish man that couldn’t see the handwriting clearly on on board.

Very on point bro. This is the reason it is very mandatory to get a girl or woman commit or contribute something in a relationship. Otherwise, where she has nothing at stake, she is onto the next bike at the blow of a whistle. But if you check any babe that has truely committed her time, effort, body, money, brain, happiness, even sadness too. Then their heart dey with you. Any girl who is unwilling to commit these... Check her well, she has committed it to somebody else where.

✓ This one no get sense at all, the real marriage is the traditional marriage, so for her information she's already married to that man...
✓ Why allow the man and his family to waste money and invite guest all over just for her to run away...

The man should arrest her and make her refund for all the expenses.... And if she doesn't have money to pay back, she should be sent to Kaduna prison with hard labour.
That's actually not true at all. If thye traditional marriage has yet to be registered in the customary courts, it is merely a glorified boyfriend/gal friend relationship. 🥱🥱🥱

It is sort of like the Islamic Niqah or your church marriages, they are not legally binding until they are registered in the courts. So many people find this out late too. 🥱🥱🥱

This is the major problem with men. Stop doing odogwu, let the woman also contribute to the relationship.

Nobody leaves a relationship they have equally invested or they have invested substantially. They cannot abandon it because they will think of where and how they will start again.

She ran away and happy to post it. She didn't have the decency to post it online.

To refund the man's expenses is what only concern me too. If the man takes her to court he will surely win.
