akinola105:There’s an higher chance the embassy telling the person to start a new application for that September instead of working on the current one. |

Hello guys my big brother (26) is looking to go to study in Ireland, joining the September 2026 intake. We have our uncle(my dad's brother) and cousin(our uncle's son) who are both working and are residents there. They have both agreed to sponsor my brother. We can prove his relationship with them with just 3-4 birth certificates. Wo already have a school near our cousin's place in mind, fees won't be a problem, we'll pay it in full. I need guidance on various things: 1. How best can he explain the change of careers from electrical engineering to applied social care? 2. We have uncles, two in the UK and one in the US that will be depositing money in his bank account in euros, USD and pounds. Can i just explain is from my uncles and show the statements, because we all share one surname. 3. How does he show strong ties to return back to the country of origin. He has a daughter but not married yet. He has just finished school in 2025 so he has no job, no pay slips, no property, nothing at all. 4. If there is no employment history is that a negative? 5. Do i have to purchase the Ireland education bond and/or have money in his bank account for expenses if he is fully sponsored by our uncles, and he will be fully hosted by our uncle and cousin in Ireland for the whole 4 years. Like the €10,000 for the first year and fees and €10,000 expenses for subsequent years. 6. For example fees for the remaining 3 years is like €30,000, so does my uncle's account need to have that amount all at once to prove he can pay my fees and support me? Thank you for your time lads, looking forward to hear from you. |

I don't have an answer to your question, but I would like to know how you accessed the ISD portal, cos mine keeps redirecting me to the login page, after I verify that I am human. Anyone else with the same issues? Ayo112: |

Ayo112:Your application ID isn't supposed to be different since it's an appeal on the same application. That may be an error. I'll suggest you send the embassy an email with this screenshot and don't forget to put your application ID in the subject too. On a second thought, that is probably the initial AVATS form you must have filled and you didn't proceed with. Any AVATS you fill shows on the ISD portal as application received. I just remembered that I had to fill AVATS twice last year and the initial one I filled is showing that way on my portal as well. |

Hi guys. My study visa has been approved since ending of October but I’m still yet to receive it. I had to defer my admission to 2026 September because my visa did not come in on time. I notified the embassy regarding this, however, I’ve not received my visa. Is anyone else experiencing something similar? |

You have not received your visa or you haven't received your passport from the embassy? Adetoun0255: |

hi everyone, i just stumbled on this thread, im a family of 5 and i wanted to apply for a masters programme in ireland but i dont know if it allows dependants as i would really like to go with my family and i read business administration and dont know if i can switch from that to healthcare course. im just a bit confused. |
| Re: Ireland Study Visa thread,General Life Experience of Nigerians Living in Ireland by bigmills: 12:03am On Jan 14*. Modified: 11:45am On Jan 15 |
Ireland does not allow dependent visa but you going to Ireland for Masters may be the key to have have your family with you later..Huge sacrifice but worth it...(Think and deliberate very well based on your own situation) Instead of Business Administration, I'd suggest International Business as a better option. You can build a career in the financial Compliance out of it Chachy: |

Okamgba6:Did you try to log in again after it redirected you? For me, I have the page permanently opened on a tab so verifying I'm human is my own starting point then I login. Identity verification next and a code is then sent to my mobile. I suggest you try another browser and see if it's still the same thing. |
