Pastor Jerry Eze, the convener of NSPPD, has revealed that the Jerry Eze Foundation plans to give out a $300,000 grant to 100 beneficiaries in 2026.

In a video shared online, the popular cleric explained that the initiative is aimed at empowering young people who are interested in doing something phenomenal in agriculture, technology, and manufacturing.
According to him, each selected beneficiary will receive at least $3,000 to either support an existing business or help pioneer a new one.

Pastor Jerry Eze emphasized that the entire grant process will be handled by a reputable international consulting firm to ensure transparency and openness. He described the announcement as a teaser, urging the public to stay alert for further instructions and full details.

“This is us playing just a part in the big things God wants to do for His people,” he said, adding that the Jerry Eze Foundation is committed to catering for the total well-being of individuals.

He doesn't even trust his church board of trustees to be transparent with the scheme, thus he wants to outsource people to handle it.

So the question is, what then, are such people doing in a church?

Point of correction, this is not the primary purpose of the Church. Its not wrong for a church to give grant. Dont go and rubbish d other church that is not giving grant. To Appraise the Church , start with their primary purpose which is to add spiritual value to its members. Connecting them to God. Physical empowerment, community service , building of roads are secondary. Don't exchange the primary purpose of Government to the Church
