i dont support adultery, but i want to face reality here. i think this question is very common in third world like sub-sahara africa and among the middle class to poor people. these are my reasons" (1) Have you even seen a rich politician/banker/businessman etc caught inside top 5 stars hotels like Eko Hotel etc with another man`s wife? eventhough it happens over there daily. that is why i said this married adultery story is more from poor/middle class people (2) Have you ever heard of this so called married women adultery stuff or Magu etc story heard among Africans/Nigerians etc who are based abroad? i remember all the stories we heard through 2024-2025 of alot of married Nigerian women sleeping around in UK, Canada etc.. why didnt Magu etc catch them?.. can you see the third world effect now (3) Lastly, what gave alot of men right over women is that thing called BRIDE PRICE. if women wants to be free, they have to fight against it. |

Corporate2020:You can leave the Bible out of your shenanigans. I guess it is ok to sleep with yout father-in-law, it is ok to connive with your second son to deceive your husband & first son out of their inheritance, it is ok to set up your husband to get his maid pregnant and send the child away as soon as yours is born, it is ok to be a prostitute or marry six husbands. After all, God allowed and loved them also. |

VEE2010:That is why Jesus said...he who is without sin should cast the first stone. The Law was clear. Lev 20 vs 10 . Both the man and the woman should have been there, not just the woman. BY bringing the woman, they were breaking the Law . The Law said BOTH the man and the woman. That is why when Jesus said he who is without sin...they were commiting an obvious sin. BY not disgracing and bringing out the man ..they broke the law regarding the punishment of adultery. Also, Jesus let the woman go free because all her accusers had gone, and second, since her accusers could NOT Produce the man that she slept with, therefore she was by the provisions of the Jewish Law as outlined in the old testament, not guilty. (Of course he told her to go and sin no more, because Jesus doesn't condone sin). The story was about how people used the Law to commit injustice, not about whether men sin less than women sin. I mean, Jesus regarded all SIN as being the SAME LEVEL OF EVIL. Not just Jesus, his disciples. Also, mind you , sleeping around in Jewish society was wrong. If a man slept with a woman who was not engaged, he was expected to, per the same Law... 1. Make public atonememt with a public sacrifice in front of the whole temple 2.Marry the woman and NEVER DIVORCE HER. 3. Pay her father fifty shekels. Second, it is scientifically proven that men are polygamous by nature and, judging by most of them, have mistresses while remaining close to their families, unlike women who become emotionally detached from their husbands and children as soon as they begin relationships with other men.Yes, and most polygamous men married their wives properly according to the traditions and customs of their culture. They did not sleep around with women anyhow, which is what you are promoting. |

YourGFsnatcher:Very intelligent And also in our culture, a man can marry as many wives as possible and pay bride prices, but women cannot |

In the Western World, all adultery is the same. In Nigeria, where the man "pays" for the woman, it is not the same. In Nigeria, the man is supposed to pay a bride price, and fulfill some cultural obligations. This is to signify that he's the head, and "lord" over the woman. So imagine "paying for something" and having someone else use it. And as the head, the man can still choose to go for as many women as he can afford, because a man's worth is only measured by how much he can afford. Even after the wedding, the man is expected to be the one taking all the responsibilities. You cannot talk about equality when only one person is expected to carry all the load. This idea of "paying" Bride price and paying off some list will have to go first before we can talk about men and women being equal in a marriage, because it indirectly places the man over the woman, and patriarchy is what equality is trying to do away with. I dislike patriarchy as much as I despise feminism. We are all Equal, but we are NOT the same! |

nairalanda1:Adultery is wrong on both sides both they don’t carry the same weight. If you commit adultery and get the woman pregnant at least you can cater for the child…but a woman can hide her adultery…get pregnant fo the man and make you raise a child that is not yours and keep it a secret for LIFE which scenario do you think is more grevious |

If I didn't enter any polygamous or open marriage agreement with you from the onset, then you would definitely return to the street if and when I catch you cheating. You are not going to infect me with sexual demons. |
| Re: Is Adultery of Married Women More Evil Than Adultery of Married Men? by Kimo21(m): 12:00pm On Jan 17 |
pocohantas:What do you mean by return to the street as if you’re the owner of the house? By the way the Bible allows for divorce in the case of adultery as that is the only permission for divorce. |

The irony of this topic is that adultery is going on right now! regardless of what we say. Someone's husband/wife is busy sampling another person's naked body! Adultery is evil, be it committed by man or woman. Thou shalt not commit adultery. — Exodus 20:14 |

Extra marital sex is mostly a man's game because it is men who spend most money in relationships including buying the women gifts, paying for weddings and footing family bills.Men also don't get pregnant. A woman who wants that priviledge must learn to foot her own bills and use protection with her side guys.Even with all that, if it is discovered, it may be the end of the marriage. |

Yes but I don't have the strength to explain but trust me, if I explain it you will understand why it is different and why humans never really consider male infidelity as adultery. However, with how rampant dangerous stds are these days it's better you just chill |

Men think they own the world and can get away with anything. Their brains are now on reset mode now that women are teaching them lessons. They even went as far as creating a type of god that punish adulterous women. But trust women, they are also using their charms to neutralise the powers of the stupid god. |

Kobojunkie:The truth the society is not telling Africans is that until women start paying dowries to men, they have no business sleeping out when they have married. Money involvement and contribution is the determinant of evil in relationships. Otherwise, everyone should keep deceiving themselves... |
