I don't have any confidence in Burnley to take points from Liverpool, but Brentford can help us by spanking Chelshit.
You said it that Sesko and Mainoo will enjoy more under Carrick. The former didn't play today but the later had a full match for the first time after Amoru don useless am finish.

Mainoo man that midfield like a Marshall and put in the work. I hope Sesko too will embrace the challenge with both hands and bury chances.

grin cheesy

What a positive breath of fresh air after all the toxic negative football from Ruben Amorim.
Let's hope we can push on from here and go on a positive run of games!
C'mon United! Get in there!!
Amorim would have removed one center back and brought another center back to form tactical cheesy cheesy

Thank you. We can’t change 12 players at once, and tbh, we have been buying players. So why would anyone say this squad cannot beat Wolves and Westham? God dey!
Don’t be surprised if we actually struggle against West Ham and Wolves. It’s a different ball game if the onus is on you to attack and win.

Carrick’s charge for top 4 depends majorly on how we play (and WIN hopefully) against the Evertons, Brentfords and Brightons.

Amorim also beat City. We've always beaten them playing counter attacking football. The same counter attacking football that wasn't regarded as tactics when Ole did it 4 times in a row.

Let's hope we can get something against Arsenal and Fulham.

And win or lose Dalot is still shît
Make we no lie, this particular beating was a resounding one.

We will revisit this quote after 10 to 20 games from Carrick. I might be wrong and he will be the messiah we've been waiting for. But it's too early too judge.
- Infact I am indeed worried he started with a win. I might be wrong, time will tell.
Don't understand.Ur unhappy bcoz we won?Am not really looking at the goals.ls the way we played. We completely dominated n outplayed city.Nobody is saying Carrick is the messiah but for today he tried.Playing players in their rightful position helped a lot today.look at Bruno in that No 10 position.

Hehehe. Make Pep no go cut Semenyo's samson locks o. He has to make a decision on either Semenyo or Doku on the left.

It will be interesting to see what Carrick does with Sesko going forward. I think today's decision was a tactical one but i might be wrong.

He will give Mainoo all the chance in the world to regain his place and Dorgu will be a mainstay of the team either at LB or LW.

I don’t get. Do you want managers to stay for 10 years? When the person is not Pep? Why should not we sack underperforming managers?
Aha! Here we go again.

Yes, I am waiting for the small games, but will celebrate this one. Plus, wins against big teams suggests that the squad is not as bad. We just need to find ways to beat small teams which is on the manager.

Playing to their strengths helped too. Especially for Dorgu. His agility and stamina helped a lot in midfield.

Win or loss is irrelevant, the most important thing is we don't get carried away. The root cause of Man U's problem has not been addressed.

ETH won trophy but still got sacked, Ole beat Man city but still got sacked, Mourinho finished 2nd but still got sacked,...the list goes on.

Most fans jumping upandan now will soon ask for Carrick to be sacked when the going gets tough (and it will), forgetting that the root cause of the problem is not the manager.

In conclusion, I might be wrong, what the hell do I even know hahahahahahahah.
You lost me in the first statement....which one is win or lose is irrelevant...why then was Amorim and Ten Hag and the others before them sacked?

I don't understand you Amorimsexuals, we beat our City rivals comprehensively at home and you guys are sad about it ......Omo shocked

Never said it wasn't. We always have a chance to beat City with their high line. Even the game at the Etihad Donnaruma kept them in the game till they scored and gained the upper hand

The guy was just negatively toxic.
He was never positive. Always making like for like substitutions when chasing a game. A total negative coach.
Thank you Michael Carrick. Let's push on from here. We may not win games every week but let play in a positive United way.
Get in there UNITED!!!
Let's go forward!!!

I never envisaged that peeps could be so bitter after such a performance and result.

Their wish is to come here every weekend to have reasons to blame Ugarte, Dalot and similar players that have been playing poorly.

Funny thing is that Nobody is even referring to Carrick as the Messiah.

Maybe Sesko will feature prominently against Arsenal. Dorgu and Mainoo will also play lots of games. If Dorgu is absent, Ugarte will be on the pitch.

Carrick focuses a lot on the midfield. Players like Dorgu and Ugarte can protect that space by covering every blade of glass.

Mainoo is needed for creativity and the base on which attacks are launched.
Casemiro will just oversee the whole department, making sure that things are going according to plan.
Bruno will wreak damage in his natural #10 position

Sesko's own might be a tactical decision for this game but only time will tell. I knew Mainoo will get a real chance under Carrick because he already expressed that he could build his team round Mainoo in an interview last year and because of the type of midfield Carrick was said to have used at Boro.
