Altern8tor:Honestly anytime I’m asked… I’m always like there’s someone we did the same day thats also awaiting decision I’m not sure if what I did in the last 24 hours counted or influenced them but I’ll just drop it here. Sent a response under the paid mail… told them my resumption was 26th and Hostel contract starts 21st (yesterday). I also attached my admission offer letter for them to confirm my resumption date and also attached hostel contract document. Messaged my school's International engagement center informing them about the delay and asking for assistance in any way. Got the Visa today. I have a question guys.. Can I travel from Morocco where I have been since AFCON or do I have to travel from Nigeria ?? Someone please clarify. I have everything needed with me Thanks |

Depends on your school they're not going to force ukvi to make a decision but some schools are willing to escalate your case to ukvi, those kind of escalations are usually stronger My school's international team gave me a date to get back to them when they'll help me reach out to ukvi if no response by then when I told them about the delay email, so some schools help out while some don't codegirl: |

Altern8tor:Dude your university can not influence the outcome of your visa application, they haven't got that authority. |
| Re: Uk Student Visa/tier 4 Pbs - Your Questions Answered Part 9 by Tribet: 7:45am On Jan 23 |
Is English the problem? Nobody said they're influencing the outcome what we're saying is their intervention can make d process faster not influencing their decision justwise: |

Thank you for your response. Sorry, for the questions, I want to be certain. You mean you got the SLA message and you have gotten your visa? If yes, did you get any additional mail aside the SLA before your visa was granted? Ignnyte: |

Good day, I’ve been through something very similar, so I’ll share what I learned. First, study gaps are not automatically a problem for visa applications, especially when the gap is reasonable and explainable like yours. In your case, the timeline actually makes sense: Graduated in 2011 National service in 2013 Teaching work after that Master’s completed in 2019 That is a progressive academic and work path, not an unexplained gap. About the NQF 7 issue: NQF Level 7 usually refers to a Bachelor’s degree level in South Africa, not a Master’s. Some institutions list the entry route or qualification framework as NQF 7, which causes confusion. What matters more for visa purposes is: Your highest qualification obtained The offer letter Your academic progression For visa applications, you are usually only asked to explain gaps if there is a long period with no study, no work, and no clear activity. Where required, a simple written explanation or supporting documents (employment letter, service letter) is usually enough. I found this explanation helpful when I was confused about NQF levels and how qualifications are classified: https://smartafricaguide.com/matric-in-south-africa/ It helped me understand how NQF levels are structured and why institutions sometimes label things differently. My advice: Do not panic Prepare a short explanation of your work and service history Only submit gap explanations if the visa office specifically asks If anyone here has gone through visa processing recently, feel free to add your experience too. Tribet:The issue here is that even most schools agent, other agents or friends keep passing wrong information to applicants. I have a friend that application his taken 2months now, all information were properly filled and documentation are genuine. School agent is laughing the person that assuming she filled the form for the applicant, his/her application will have been granted. She also mentioned that the applicant case is taking longer just because he/she declared genuinely that they have family member here. People needs to understand that what is required by A is not what B will require. We all see what happened in last AFCON tournament in Morocco. Lastly people need to understand is the govt main motive to reduce net migration. We don see am for Yankee and other countries. |

In essence,,it's good not to declare u have a family member? Phenmeson: |

Altern8tor:If you say no to such question and they find out, what will you do to backup your previous declaration? No one pray to chop beans for minor issue. Any information given are always stored. |

Tribet:The egbon you quote na him be oga pata and founder of the group. Thousands don they blessed or move easily through his platform. I know the waiting time and wot people have been passing through. School have less influence in forcing Govt agency to grant applicant decision ASAP. Decision maker can decide what ever length they want to process each file. That's why they drop email that e go take longer time for some applicant. Best things school go tell applicant to withdraw or defer if they are unable to meet deadlines. I pray every one get their decision on time. If our country dey beta most of us no go dey this situation my Broda |
