Being the owner of the group doesn't mean we can't have our own input
I've gone to read past threads and schools reaching out to ukvi helps the process, most schools don't reach out but the few that do AIds review thanks for listening to my pep talk,

School have less influence in forcing Govt agency to grant applicant decision ASAP.
Decision maker can decide what ever length they want to process each file. That's why they drop email that e go take longer time for some applicant.

Best things school go tell applicant to withdraw or defer if they are unable to meet deadlines.

I pray every one get their decision on time.

As far as I know, universities contacting UKVI cannot push visa decisions. UKVI will do what they need to do, conduct all necessary checks and make the best decisions per candidate.

Honestly if you contact the school and after few days and you get a feedback honestly your outcome is near.

People need to understand that UKVI process several thousands of visa per day. The only time they can do that is exceptional (humanitarian or some very difficult situations). It is usually done via international house/ department of the school.

And let us think like this, every school and everyone start contacting UKVI and everyone get outcome the next day. It doesn't work that way.

At the moment when the universities are being very cautious with UKVI because of their sponsor license. My own opinion as someone who used to be international student for 5 years +

Honestly anytime I’m asked… I’m always like there’s someone we did the same day thats also awaiting decision

I’m not sure if what I did in the last 24 hours counted or influenced them but I’ll just drop it here.

Sent a response under the paid mail… told them my resumption was 26th and Hostel contract starts 21st (yesterday). I also attached my admission offer letter for them to confirm my resumption date and also attached hostel contract document.

Messaged my school's International engagement center informing them about the delay and asking for assistance in any way.

Got the Visa today.

I have a question guys.. Can I travel from Morocco where I have been since AFCON or do I have to travel from Nigeria ?? Someone please clarify. I have everything needed with me

Very false, all these agent things sef. I am an advocate for doing your visa application by yourself

It is very normal....if u want a quick response to be sure,,do a paid email to find out d status of your visa,,u will get a response

It doesn’t look suspicious, however your timeline resets to 15 working days, wanted to escalate yesterday and the agent on call advised to just wait instead of doing that cause it will reset my timeline over again. Don’t know how true but that’s what I was told.

There's something that's unclear to me. Most people I've seen receiving their Visas after the SLA message were asked to submit additional documents.
What about those that didn't receive any other mail aside the SLA message?

Perhaps you didn't upload some of the docs hence why they kept asking for this and that, which literally delayed your outcome.

That said, I have a very urgent question, pls where you able to pay for the UKVI visa priority service with naira card or strictly with Pound
