| Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by lawrins8: 12:21am On Jan 21 |
jmoore:Thanks for your response. Please what expenses are you talking about in Number 1. Also she is thinking of writing £850 as the trip expenses which is for flight hope that will not be too much from the balance of 3.8m? |
| Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by jmoore(m): 6:49am On Jan 21 |
lawrins8:The expenses I am talking about is for how much she spends monthly. Flight ticket price: 850 pounds is the average price. If you reduce it below the reasonable price, they will know. If it's too much from her balance? If you can sponsor her partially, then do. You can sponsor for half of the price of the ticket, if you can. |
| Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by lawrins8: 9:19am On Jan 21 |
jmoore:Did you mean the £850 is still okay? If I decide to sponsor her partially they might say she suppose to sponsor herself as an adult. I have seen cases like that here. |

Good day guys. Quick question. Do I need to upload the document checklist with the application, or I should ask my brother to take it with him to his biometric appointment? cc: @jmoore |
| Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by jmoore(m): 3:12pm On Jan 21 |
Ajalalomo:Upload it. They only need physical copy of appointment letter and international passport at the biometric center. |
| Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by Ajalalomo: 4:26pm On Jan 21 |
jmoore:I am a bit confused about this because there’s a part on the checklist paper that says don’t sign until you get to your appointment. Should I ask him to sign it and I upload it, or what should I do? |
| Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by jmoore(m): 6:21pm On Jan 21 |
Ajalalomo:Just upload it blank like that. That's what I have been doing. The signature thing and filling the checklist was actually meant for those who want to upload their documents at the biometric center. As long you choose the selfupload option and uploaded all documents by yourself, the checklist is not needed at the center. |

For the scamm workers at the VFS centres forcing unsuspecting and naive people to forcefully pay for VFS services in Abuja today, YOU ARE EVIL. IT is one thing to suggest to people to pay for a service but another thing to deceive them that if they do not pay then their applications will not be processed when you know they are naive and ignorant. |

giselle237:This is pure evil. Make money through any means, but don't make it through deceit. You can offer to help and charge whatever you want, but forcing it on people is evil |

Hello good people, Please, what is the best currency to use when declaring amount to spend for holiday trip. Naira or Pounds? Thank you 🙏 |
| Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by integrityicon: 8:56am On Jan 25 |
killaskillz:Hi please, after your mom overturned decision did you book another appointment with the VFS for another capture on VFS site? |
| Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by Ashirioluwa: 3:44pm On Jan 25 |
cydophobia:Either one is good. If you use naira, the UKVI will use the exchange rate on the date of your application to convert the amount to British Pounds (£) to verify it covers your costs. UKVI uses the OANDA spot exchange rate to convert foreign financial evidence into British pounds (£) on the date of a visa application. https://www.oanda.com/currency-converter/en/?from=NGN&to=GBP&amount=1 |
