I'm tired of thinking every minute of the day. Infact, I'm tired of this life.


This is my life predicament below;

— I'm 25
— I'm the only son of a widow out of 2 children
— I have no higher education except waec and neco
— I have no skills (except minimal writing skill)
— I have no helper


My disappointments in life;

— I entered higher institution in 2023 with the help of my mum's relatives but dropped out because i didn't see money for tfare to school and handouts. (tbh, it's a long story)

— I started working in a filling station few months before I even entered school but i resigned after 1 year and 6 months because I and one other of my colleague were accused of the theft of over #1.3M company money via POS (our phones were seized and searched but nothing was found.. me that only had 3 trousers and 2 polo then)

— Last year, I had just made my first hundred dollars and was heading to $1k a month before Amazon terminated my account few days to Christmas.

— After the account termination, I contacted a family friend who lives in US to help me create account and post my book but she just read my msg and ignored (up till now, she no dey even reply my msg again). This is the same family friend that even asked to buy jamb form this year with the promise of training me in nursing school.

— Weeks later, I posted my ordeal here and a fellow agreed to help me on the basis of a sharing pattern to which I agreed. But you should be able to correctly guess how it turned out once I replied his mention “I'm afraid of doing business with my Nigerian brothers”

— When my phone spoilt last year August, my childhood friend promised to send me 50k to get a second hand phone once the month ends..but guess what happened once I tried to chat him on the 3rd of the new month.. the same number that I have been chatting suddenly is no longer on WhatsApp. To say I was shocked at that moment would be an understatement — I was literally dumbfounded fr.

I mean, the guy is doing very well for himself. Judging by his WhatsApp statuses then, he lives in blocks of flats in a very posh area in Port Harcourt. He even told me that he's a software engineer abi something like and even asked me to learn programming. But I honestly told him that I have tried and didn't understand it, maybe because i no sabi maths at all

Abeg o.. I want to ask; na only me waka come this life so?


I have told my mum that 2026 will be the last I'll be living in her house permanently. By 2027, I'll know if God created me to come and be suffering in this wicked world until I dîe.

Since i was born, nobody have even dashed me money or something valuable. I even asked the family friend that lives abroad for a good laptop so I can learn video editing but she just cut the call. But i heard she sent her younger sis iphone 11 and sent her bro a mac book.


Who did I offend in this life?

Why don't I have siblings? Why am I the first born?

Is there really God or just a superstitious belief that the white men sold to us?

If there's God, why would he be happy watching me live in penury?



Everyday my mum will be comparing me with my childhood friend. She doesn't care that i have no brother, sister or helper.

Last December, a childhood friend came back with rx 350 full option.. I didn't even know it was him until he double-crossed me and wine(d) down his tinted glass. Chai, someone that just left for Ghana in late 2022.

Last December, another even came back from PH and took I and our other guy out to a fancy restaurant on the 28th. Our table was full with beer, chicken, meat, suya, shisha, hollandia, etc. But I only drank one bottle of Heineken (like 60%) because my head is light.

The shisha sef, na him com dey teach me how to inhale and exhale it because i no sabi am. It was my first time of eating or drinking outside.

In my mind, I wanted to tell him to please help 🙏 me with the money he wanted to spend one but I didn't know if it'd offend him , so I kept shut. In total, he must have spent anywhere from 90 to 150k that night

He even lodged for hotel for like three weeks before going back.


Why are things extremely difficult for me? Why are my own things always different compared to my peers?

Am I under a curse — generational curse perhaps??

Very foolish post. At 25 you're getting BP of other people success. What will you do at 35 if things aren't working for you. Oga you're just starting life and failure is a must for your growth and stability.

He needs a skill, so I'd suggest he go learn mechanic or something like it that he can pay for by serving his trainer. The nursing he mentioned also sounds good, but he sounds more like one who prefers shortcuts instead of sweating from his brow for his success.

It is well. Just calm down help will come your way. One way or the other. Stop comparing yourself to others.

Take your concerns to God and help will locate you.Also forget expecting helps from relatives and friend,....it is an insult to God.

Your life may be such that God does not want anyone to take the glory over your success. This usually happens to those who are headed for great heights.

Eyes don see. Once again help will locate you one way or the other. If you think you have suffered, there are others in more devastating situations.

As this thing dey pain you so, go cry to God. Tell am as e dey bother you to the marrow and ask for his divine help to open doors of breakthkugh and elavation for you anddevote yourself to him.

It is true that I do not like doing anything with financial witj Nigerians. My eyes have seen pepper in their hands so I have no apologies for being careful.

You will have to learn a skill though. Software testing is one of them.

I won't make you any promises but you will be on my mind. STOP comparing yourself to your peers...it is the quickest way to depression.

Life is full of ups and downs. And to be a man is not a day job.

To start with, I'd advise you consult a spiritual adviser. Tell your mum to take you to a strong spiritual adviser for cleansing. PLEASE DON'T IGNORE THIS ADVICE.

You may be under a generational curse just like you said, but wouldn't know. The spiritual rules and will continue to rule the physical.

To make it in life, you have to take the bull by the horn. Fortune they say, favors the brave. Life does not reward meekness, it rewards courage.

I really feel your pain. There's nothing more painful than wasted efforts. And Nigeria is not even a safe place to birth a child again because the country is only going to get worse.


NOW LISTEN CAREFULLY, THIS IS MY LITTLE ADVISE TO YOU:

If you can, tell your mum to tell her relatives and also your dad's relatives to do fund raising and send you abroad (UK, Germany, Austria).

Currently, this is your best bet. Leave the thought of schooling or handwork for now. Fight to leave Nigeria first. You can further your education to any extent once you travel out.

Infact it's more easier over there, because you'll be schooling and also working (and also saving). So you see, it's a win win situation.

Maybe, it won't be rosy at the beginning, but with time, things will fall place and you'll start living well, get married, have kids, acquire properties, and begin to live the life you've always imagined.

Things are very hard for people with siblings, talk more of you with no sibling(s).

First of all I dont know whether your story is true or not but if it is true then here are some advice.
You said you had minimal writing skills yet you published a book on Amazon? No be juju be that?

The human brain matures well from 25 years and at this age most boys are still struggling like you. (Unless boys with wealthy parents or into illegal stuff)

From your family background and your mum comparing you with other boys without doing anything to support means that your mom has low IQ (truth hurts).

If your mom has low IQ that means she might have passed the genes to you. That is You also have low IQ and making sustenable decisions becomes difficult for you.

You dont have to blame your self for finding yourself in this situation. The way out is to accept reality and work with it and not against it. You said you are not good in math's so ICT skills is out of the option.

The first step is not to compare yourself with others or beg for help. This destroys you completely.

What you have to do is to reflect on your life and past decisions and try and see if you can find your mistakes. Always blame yourself and criticize yourself to do better.

Start developing yourself and stay away from social media. Read self help motivational books and try to discover a hobby or passion hidding inside.

You have to slow your brain vibration rate in order to increase your IQ and understanding. (You do this by staying in a quiet place always, listening to slow cool music, avoid noisy friends and party and nigerian new gen songs. Meditation and reflection helps in seeing the world in slow motion) The more knowledge and understanding you acquire the better your decisions and life growth.

Life is not a race with anyone, the goal is to live a happy quiet peaceful life with enough resources to pay your daily expenses. You can make money from farming and anything.

If Amazon blocked your account, why not open a new account? Is Amazon racist? Sometimes they don't give a very good explanation as to why your book was blocked or your account terminated.
