What matters most in life is not what you have, but what you can achieve with what you have in the world.
Many people with First Class degrees have not achieved anything outstanding in their occupation and profession.

The current president of Brazil at best has the equivalent of our primary school leaving certificate (He also managed to do most of the first two years of secondary school at best. At worst he finished one year of secondary school). He started working as a teenager.

Infact, he makes even Buhari look like a literate chap.

Also, if you went to university at the time the second class phillosophy graduate went there, you were probably the best among the best. Until the late 1980's when 6334 kicked in, anyone entering university had to pass O, A Levels and JAMB. And back then it warn't cheap exam. Even a third class was assured of getting a place in the civil service back then. A minority got to go to university back then.

Being the leader of a nation is not by being first class, second class in university. Otherwise, someone like Winston Churchill who was not especially brilliant would have never been PM of the UK. A good leader is one who can delegate tasks to the right people at the right time. Even if all he got is primary five attempted.

No, I don't like any of our politicans nor do I support anyone of them, including our current leaders, and obi and atiku. They are all the same.

Great feat there beauty and brain. Many hearty congratulations. 1st class in Economics is not a joke. I remember someone has that records too in UNN back then.

These are the kinds of achievement we should be proud to showcase so that younger girls can be motivated to attain stardom too by diligence, sheer determination and hard work. More heights to attain girl.

I don't think it is something new though. My friend finished from unilag same economics and had a CGPA of 4.82 last 2 years and he still had like 2 people above him. Never the less it is a good feet but not record breaking.
