Coach Nora Häuptle (Zambia) on Nigeria 🇳🇬: "This is an opponent we must be able to beat if we want to reach the semi finals, qualify for the World Cup, and win this tournament. We’ve prepared a smart plan to challenge them. But it’s not only about Nigeria — Egypt and Malawi are also part of the picture." Source: @abuotor |

There’s this particular player I’m seeing in the SuperFalconet for the over 5 years now.. She was part of Blessing Demehin 2022 set and the past U20 set that played the 2024 World Cup.. What is she still doing in this current U20 set up of 2026?? Let’s make it make sense, not that she’s even that good or exceptional. She mainly play as a Left Back and for Nasarawa Amazon in the NWFL 🇳🇬 Are there no better fullbacks in the League?? Why is she still in the U20 set up from 2022 till date?? I just don’t want to mention her name but those familiar with the Local League and youth players will know her better. If she’s that good let her play her way to the SuperFalcons. |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by Deltamani: 7:07pm On Jan 30 |
Deltamani:For Christ sake this player played the U20 World Cup with the likes of Blessing Demehin, Rofiat Imuran, Flourish Sabastine, Deborah Abiodun, Esther Onyenezide, Chiamaka Okwuchukwu etc At least 2 edition of the U20 is enough for a player..!! I’m not against the player but can we move on with other talented options instead of recycling one that hasn’t proven anything till date. |

Unfortunately, your protest is pointless IF you don't name names! You need to identify and remove the bad apple from the basket, or else it would spoil the bunch. Video below could help: https://www.tiktok.com/@ademolavictortv/video/7601124934915525909 Deltamani: |

Sorry, but it is highly UNLIKELY this team will not win the WAFCON this go around. Why? The coaching staff have not recognized the fact that other competitors, specifically the Moroccans, South Africans, Ghanaians and even the Zambians have scouted and dissected this squad and know what to do to beat them. Goalkeepers: 2. Neither Comfort nor Mojisola have been contacted regarding a switch to play for the SF. So, there is no credible goalie. Other teams will look towards taking out Nnadozie. Defenders. 1• 5• Midfielders 2• Forwards 1• 3• Unfortunately for Nigeria, we have dull-ards in charge. From the federation to the coaching staff. They lack the foresight to realize other teams have scouted the Super Falcons in and out. From the Moroccans (who will do ANYTHING to win at all costs), to the Zambians (who were thoroughly embarrassed by Nigeria the last time) to the South Africans (who Nigeria dethroned as Champions) to the Ghanaians (who have a point to prove). Our ladies have a MASSIVE bullseye on their backs and the Nigerian FA are blind to that fact. Schemerkhiz: |

Defender Oluchi Ohaegbulem captained the Nigeria women's U-20 team (Falconets) at the 2024 FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup in Colombia. There is no way on earth that this woman is under 20! Deltamani: |

AkinDS:Taiwo Afolabi don join her now for this newfound stale repetition record the NFF is crazy about. They found a loop and are now abusing it to the max. Smh. 🤦🏽♂️😂😂😂😂 |

Why are you always afraid to drop names ? The player go beat you ? ... Deltamani: |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by isan(m): 7:32am On Jan 31 |
The falconets captain and taiwo afolabi I'm tired of seeing them in the youth set up .... I'm very sure somebody close to them knows someone in the NFF that reserved their place every youth tournament....also they're overaged and it's embarrassing, Nigeria shouldn't be cheating in women football |

do4luv14:She do u17 at 15 and 17yo. Kon enter u20. 18yo ajd 20yo loading for u20.😭😭 |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by BascoVanVeli(m): 7:08pm On Jan 31 |
daveP:There is no loop, Taiwo is the right age for this level. She didn't even play at the U20WC last time. Btw both Oshoala and Ajibade played at the U20WC twice. If u are under the age limit there is no reason why not. |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by do4luv14(m): 7:33pm On Jan 31 |
Deltamani:You sef check am na, that babe go don reach 25yrs, what she still doing at U20? She is just like Bamiyi who wants to build a permanent house in U20 |

do4luv14:Taiwo Afolabi? 25 years? |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by Predator87: 8:29pm On Jan 31 |
do4luv14:That is false. She played in 2 U17 tournaments and now is with the U20. Have you seen Taiwo Afolabi? She still looks like a little kid. That the last person you want to accuse of being overaged. |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by lovewins: 8:41pm On Jan 31 |
JOE to Chelsea? Didn't even know there was interest. Indifferent about either outcomes. Both a great clubs, the top consideration for me will be playing time.

| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by AkinDS: 9:38pm On Jan 31 |
Predator87:Anyone who claims she is still 18 yrs old is only kidding themselves. There is absolutely NO WAY she isn't way older than that. Based on the synopsis of her club and country career, it means she started playing at that level when she was 12, which is absolutely BS! Hard to prove that she is legit and not also an age cheat.

| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by AkinDS: 9:56pm On Jan 31 |
BTW, she will pick Naija before CV. Reason is more opportunities to medal - just like Chioma Okafor did. Only issue is nobody has reached out to her. Deltamani: |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by Predator87: 10:01pm On Jan 31 |
AkinDS:Her official DOB is 2-3-2007. This year she will be 19. So that means in 2021, she was 14 which is not out of the ordinary. Alot of female players start off their club football carriers at 15-17 especially in Africa, parts of Asia and South America. This is not US where young girls have the option of going to college and playing football there until they go pro. Again go watch her play for the U17 falcons in 2022. She was much smaller than her teammates and opponents in both height and Physique. Also she has played in 2 U17 World cups not 2 U20 world cups as was alluded to. Lets get that fact straight. |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by BascoVanVeli(m): 10:15pm On Jan 31 |
do4luv14:No this is Taiwo's 2nd time and she didn't even go to the U20 world cup last time. Plus we all knew she was 14/15 in her first world cup I had an AFCON highlight taken down so I just stopped. I still have most of the games so I might do some later. |
