You are right about the tactical advantages of Yoro starting ahead of Maguire but I suspect Carrick will not make too many changes in this game which is the first one we are expected to win. The defence might not change.

Amad and Mbeumo are our 2 most consistent attackers. They are the only 2 that you can predict when they will give you. I think Carrick will find a way to start both. Either Sesko or Cunha might miss out.

Whatever lineup Carrick chooses, that won’t be the major problem. Our major problem when facing smaller teams is lack of application and focus.

Meanwhile Yuel Helafu. Put that name in your back pocket. It might come in handy one day.
Carrick went with his trusted guys. It will be hard to break into his starting eleven. Hope he is bold enough to drop non performing players even though they’re his guy.

Good start to the Fulham game. If we get the second goal, we’ll be able to score more because they’ll open up more.

We are back to our midfield being non existent.

Surprise Surprise
Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by Jamiuokolaa: 3:29pm On Feb 01
Our Left wing is dead
Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by afrodoc2: 3:42pm On Feb 01
We need another goal in this match. I don’t see us keeping a clean sheet. Nobody is following off the ball runners.

Drab performance..

Hopefully, things improve in the 2nd half

Yeah we need the 2nd goal.

He will probably make changes in the starting line up in later matches but for this match he went with tried and trusted.

Aside from the goal and few chances, this game has been even from both sides.

Chukwueze has made the Amad to be more defensive than offensive.

It seems Dorgu is way ahead of Cunha in the LWS. That side of the pitch seems nonexistent as far as I'm concerned.
Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by nitrogen(m): 3:55pm On Feb 01
Impressed with Fulham’s set up tbh. They are just poor in the final third. We need Sesko in this game. Meanwhile we miss Dorgu as there is no threat on the left side at all.
Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by afrodoc2: 3:57pm On Feb 01
Remove Cunha. Move Mbeumo to the left. Bring Sesko on.

Dorgu's absence is obvious in that wing....

The irony is that we are loaded with options on the RHS to the extent that Mbeumo is now an auxiliary CF rotating positions with Bruno

Cunha, like Amorim said, is NOT a winger.

Dunno what Mount can offer in that Role sustainably.

I think it is an area that needs to be sorted out long term

Yes. I am hoping Mbeumo can play that side better. Cunha is not there at all.

Carrick needs to make subs.
Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by LordAdam16: 4:10pm On Feb 01
fulham's set up is scintillating

the passes are crisp
positioning is excellent

thankfully their final third output is atrocious

we should worry about our attack and seek to outscore

mount is a miss

With the yellow, i wish we could CONFIDENTLY sub him out for Ugarte but make game no spoil.

Time for Carrick to ring some attacking changes
