The loop is bringing players to repeat age grade competitions using the age as the excuse for repeat.


As for the other 2 you used, they're exceptional but still under that loop. Don't make this look like someone is stretching abeg.

WAFCON/AFCON is a super tough competition now, African teams due to logistics think they can’t win the World Cup so they put all their eggs in the continental tourney

That's why it's a loop. It also has more disadvantages than advantage. Your punishing stance is coming from the idea that better talents don't exists to replace such a player and that bogus. If you're that good, then proceed to next stage not continuing at the same stage abeg. The two examples you gave carried the whole team. The two we are highlighting here did not, can't even carry half the team, on and off pitch.

Whether you spin it or not, it is a loop.

My major concern is that there are better options in that position, so why take a particular player to an age grade tournament 3 times when we have better ones who haven’t played the U20 once..?

Miracle Usani is an example, I will pick her over Oluchi one tin one tin as she hasn’t played the U20 once and she’s well exposed and can play on both sides..

Ur argument makes no sense. U say if a player is that good they should move to the next level but then u are making excuses for the 2 players I named. Shouldn't they have gone to the next level since they were good enough to carry Spain and Colombia Just say u don't like the players in question and stop coming up with fake excuses. 1. Delayed kits until semi finals (probably logistics problem). In that tournament the new Falcon jerseys were worn only on the final day
2. Some players had missing luggages at the airport
3. Falcons complained they were put in really small rooms before the final game
4. Laser in the stadium etc

Maybe you should watch some of their interviews post tournament before concluding

South Africa's sports minister says that it's not a done deal.

He says that they are discussing with CAF, but as things stand, Morocco is still the host and many processes have to take place before South Africa can become the host.

None of those chunky keepers that Magudu has tried to foist on the team come anywhere close.
