We have been underwhelming today.

Fulham no be moin moin team.

It was an even game and we did well to go ahead. But once we got the second goal we got careless and the performance levels dropped. We became so poor at defending and they rightly equalized.

Maybe it’s the Casemiro sub. Maybe not. But this team has consistently shown that they are weak when leading these “smaller” teams.

Massive win, tough game but it was expected. Onto the next game...

Yes. We miss Dorgu. We need to try Mbeumo on the left wing, with Sesko upfront. Re midfield, before the window closes tonight, can we get a midfielder on loan to support Casemiro? We can also check our academy for a promising DM. Ugarte no be am.

To be fair, Fulham is a pain in the neck. They beat Chelsea, Liverpool, played 4-5 against City, beat Tottenham and Brighton. These are all recent games. I will judge against the likes of Everton and Westham.

It easy to play counter attack while using passion to power through against the big teams, the small teams is a different thing entirely.

We badly need midfielders that can control the tempo of a game and progress the ball from deep.

The small teams will continue to expose how weak our midfield is no matter the formation deployed.

Those small teams are the banana peels we need to avoid. And we must beat them convincingly, at least most of the matches. Even if the score does not reflect the dominance, the stats should

I don't believe it's his style per say.
the few games under him, we have attacked with purpose and have been quite efficient. we haven't seen players taking wild pops at goal and running blindly into closed alleys. instead there's more togetherness in tight spaces and it's been reliant on pass-and-move rather than dazzling skill.
downside in my view, is sometimes the quality and belief especially in the defensive third drops.
with one game a week, I expect it will be manageable for now.

I think Sesko needs to be starting these kind of games at Old Trafford.

Mbeumo's influence would most likely drop if shunted out wide left but if that is the opportunity cost to be incurred for better team performances and results, so be it.

LOL that post was after we made it 3:2. This was at Old Trafford, and against Fulham. We could have easily drawn this game or even lost. We won't always be this lucky. They had more possession at Old Trafford and we played a midfield 3. Who did they have in the midfield that made them able to push us back and sustain pressure till they made it 2:2?

I watched the match. Fulham was able to keep the ball and sustain pressure for a long time in the match. Most of our players were in our half for most of the second half. Even the first half, we were not that good on the ball
