God punish Amorim and all his sexuals. Carrick has now won 4 games in a row, something he never did.

Ellexy:He will probably be kicking himself for being too stubborn to change, maybe United would have had similar run of wins if he had switched to 4231 and paired Casemiro, Mainoo and Bruno in midfield.. His sexuals that were saying 343 was not the problem, have all gone mute possibly waiting for when Carrick loses so they can resume their "the players are not good enough to beat Wolves" take.... |

TrebleChamp:"He that being often reproved and hardeneth his neck shall suddenly be destroyed and that without remedy" His stubbornness was his bane. This squad would have been in the title race had that obstinate man played to the strength of his squad. Had Bruno playing deep, Amad playing WB, 3 defenders without balance etc etc. |

Would probably back Liverpool to beat City this weekend

| Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by Jamiuokolaa: 10:08pm On Feb 07 |
Ellexy:That AFCON stretch exposed that useless manager completely. With Amad and Mbeumo out, the team had zero natural progression and that was the moment to push Bruno higher. Instead, he remained stationed into a double pivot he had no business being in. Such stubbornness dressed up as “structure” would always be punished in the EPL. As we have been reminded in recent weeks, Bruno is a final‑third weapon. Forcing him deeper during a period when the squad was already stripped of creativity was managerial ego at its loudest. The team needed pragmatism, but the manager chose ideology. He should go back to Portugal and be subbing in CB for CB when his team is trailing. Na him know |

Jamiuokolaa:A draw won't be bad at all since City isn't serious about the title. |

Ellexy:Maybe a draw would suit us sha - the fewer the team's breathing down our necks for the 4th or 5th CL spot, the better City also don't seem to be serious about 2nd place..lol. Finishing 2nd this season would be a huge statement. With everything we’ve had to navigate -tactical missteps, injuries, AFCON disruptions, - ending up as runners‑up would be a genuine overperformance. It would give the club stability, restore some credibility, and put us in a far better position to build properly next season. It’s the kind of finish that shifts the entire mood around the project and gives us a platform instead of another reset. Maybe na imagination wan wounjure me. |

Few observations. - Amad is a very good player however he needs to work on his end product. His numbers are very average in that regard. - Mbeumo minus the goals have been poor. His all round game hasn't been good at all. Struggles with control, can't dribble, easily pushed off the ball. If the goals dry up it will be evident. - Dalot has that RB role on lock. He's been good under Carrick, the curses and abuse has stopped. - Bruno was a bit selfish today in front of goal but I reckon he has earned it. Would have had a couple of assists today if he decided to pass instead of shooting. |

Jamiuokolaa:If Carrick stirs this team to a 2nd place finish come end of the season I'll consider it a missed opportunity and I think the club would consider it so too. This squad is good enough for the title race but Amorim and his sexuals were gaslighting us everyday about how useless the players are. What Carrick is doing now was what Amorim was brought it to do after Ten Hag was sacked instead he brought untold suffering to this club. Should have been sacked after that Grimsby game perhaps the season would have been salvaged instead he booted us out of every competition and was arrogant while at it. Thunder fire him. |

Ellexy:Issues boku for that attack currently but we still dey score and win. •We really need to rethink the false‑9 setup, especially in games where we’re supposed to control the ball and dictate the tempo. That structure works when we’re underdogs and playing in transition, but in dominant phases it just leaves us toothless. And you can tell Carrick is scared to touch it — he knows the moment he tweaks a “winning system” and it stumbles, the media will tear into him for daring to change anything. • Mbuemo has been poor for a while, long before AFCON, but he keeps his place because he still finds a goal here and there. • Cunha is not a winger.Currently, Shaw’s overlaps are literally the only consistent attacking outlet on that flank, which is nowhere near enough for a team trying to dominate games. West Ham won’t be straightforward. We might need to grind through it, because the current setup isn’t giving us many ways to break teams down. |
| Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by Jamiuokolaa: 10:54pm On Feb 07 |
Ellexy:The squad has always been good enough to challenge this season. The only thing that wasn’t up to standard was the narrative. Amorim somehow convinced people that we needed another £400m investment to beat ten‑man Everton at Old Trafford, and too many swallowed it. That defeatist mindset actually did more harm than any injury list. If this same “not good enough” squad finishes 2nd, it blows that entire argument to pieces. It forces a reset in expectations. It further proves that the players were never the problem — the messaging was. And it finally puts an end to all the patronising “suffer now, smile later” lectures that have been used to excuse underperformance. A top‑two finish doesn’t just restore pride; it kills off the culture of lowered standards that’s been festering around the club. |

Jamiuokolaa:So we don't have a capable left winger in the club right now aside Dorgu? We miss that boy oo. As for the Westham game, I just dey use one eye dey observe that game, potential banana spill buy I hope not. |

iamharkinwaley:Westham has won there last three match. And all these relegation teams that still have big hopes are hard to beat. Westham are three points below nottham forest so that game will be hard than usual. |

iamharkinwaley:We have a lot of tough games coming up although the team can still pick the win in most of them. We just need to be lucky with injuries and also improve on our conversion rate which is still not up to standard. That Sesko last second miss was worrying. For those saying this team is good enough for a title race, I hope the Glazers/INEOS don’t think like you. This is what led to the alternating 1 big window and 1 small window of the Mourinho era. This season the evidence (even under Carrick) shows us that we are a Casemiro injury or red card away from floundering. No quality replacement for any of our 3 midfielders actually. Even with Casemiro we needed 2 quality CMs. When he leaves that might increase to 3 unless someone from the academy has a Mainoo rise (maybe one out of Kone, T Fletcher, Devaney). Ugarte is a zero who is blocking the progress of superior technical talents and should be sold. |
| Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by odizeey(m): 6:03am On Feb 08 |
afrodoc2:I laugh. Let them continue. Four wins and we are getting carried away. Ole won 9 of his first ten games. I'm enjoying the wins now but I'm not getting carried away. A title contending squad should not be dependent on the first eleven. We know how many times de bryune got injured during City dominance but they still dominated. |

Bruno Fernandes has now been directly involved in 11 goals in his last eight games across all comps: ⚽⚽🅰️ vs Wolves ⚽🅰️ vs Bournemouth ❌ vs Aston Villa 🅰️ vs Burnley 🅰️ vs Man City 🅰️ vs Arsenal 🅰️🅰️ vs Fulham ⚽ vs Tottenham Incredible. 👏

odizeey:You are conveniently forgetting the fact that THERE WAS NO CL/UEL/CONFERENCE LEAGUE DISTRACTIONS THIS SEASON! After being bundled put of the Carabao cup, We were literally playing one game per week. The current squad, playing one game per week since September, should definitely be doing better. Unless we are saying that it is a bad idea to take advantage of certain scenarios because it could create a false sense of hope. THIS MAKES NO SENSE! All these talk of getting carried away because the squad is doing the barest minimum of winning games just further underscores the defeatist mentality Amorim has implanted in the minds of many. Smh |
