Most people think sin is just a spiritual issue. Something that offends God, triggers divine anger, or earns punishment later in the afterlife.

That framing is convenient, but incomplete.
Sin is expensive first in real life, before heaven or hell even enters the conversation.

Strip away religion and look at outcomes. Most things labeled “sin” come with built-in costs that hit your wallet, your mental health, your relationships, and your future.

LOOK AT THE BILL PEOPLE ACTUALLY PAY

Take infidelity.
Ignore morality for a moment and do the math.

Starting life again from scratch

Then the invisible costs.

WHY PEOPLE STILL CHOOSE IT

God wanted to rid Job of the spirit of fear, ie the stranglehold of the devil. Did you notice Job was living in fear? He would presumptuous ly sacrifice to God for his children should they have offended God, at last he said - " what I feared most has come upon me" Fear and not worship or faith was his motivation for all he did. God needs us to have Faith in him.

Jesus was praying to his God and creator! He is no God! Associating partners to God is the greatest sin!

You miss that Jesus on earth had two natures- SON OF MAN- the one who prayed to God, ate food, whipped people out of the temple, was crucified, died and rose again, was visible and interacted with his environment, etc and SON OF GOD- The Almighty God who was not visible but hidden in Him. When He "prayed" it was an internal communication between the visible and invisible natures. This was to teach us how to approach God in faith.
But I understand your confusion - you need revelation to understand Christianity because it's not carnal.
If you would - just ask Jesus Himself to prove the Truth about Himself to you. Many from other religions have done so and are now surrendered to Him.
He loves you and He is waiting for you.

God didn't create anything bad. In Genesis after the whole work of creation, God looked at everything and declared them good.
But God gave man free will because He didn't want us following Him like robots.
It was that freewill that man abused by disobeying God which brought sin that brought misery and death to the world.
But it didn't end there, because there is a spiritual law- WITHOUT THE SHEDDING OF BLOOD, THERE IS NO REMISSION OF SIN. Same God provided Himself to pay the penalty for man's disobedience and pay the due penalty for Adam and Eve's disobedience, because no man is pure enough to do this.
Hence the Gospel - the power of God unto salvation which we partake in by believing. And believing, we live our lives from inherited victory over sin not by our works but by aligning with the victory gotten for us over death by Jesus.
Quite simple actually. Try it and see, you will even feel free to live in obedience.
And that's still not all, should you fall into sin because of we live in a fallen world, you repent genuinely and the blood cleanses you again and you are home free to live for Him again.
But however, God expects that a Christian does not plan to sin. For God cannot be mocked, for whatever a man sows, he reaps. Deliberately sinning has consequences.

Who are you to question ur creator? God does as he pleases all that humans are created for is to please God and do his will.here on earth.
