Sin is the transgression of the law and the consequence is upon the doer. The Bible tell us that all other sins have consequences outside the body but sexual sins are sins against the flesh/body, against the temple of the LORD. What this means is that anyone that sins against the temple of the Lord will bear the consequences in the flesh; the destruction of the body via disease and death, this is sinning against oneself, hating oneself to the point of desiring and wanting to kill oneself through lack of self-restraint, and discipline. It is a call to great responsibility. You will only kill yourself if you indulge in sexual sins. There are countless STIs out there with very deadly consequences. Incurable Herpes, antibiotics resistant Gonorrhoea, HIV, etc. Abortions will leave your mentally scarred, and if improperly done can lead to infertility. Unplanned pregnancies can derail one’s life and bring dreams to an end. No one wants a part with any of these diseases or conditions so there is need for great sexual responsibility or one bears the consequences in one’s flesh. This is not a call to sexual repression, but a call to great moral restraint and responsibility 1 Corinthians 6:18-20 18 Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body. 19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? 20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's. 2 Likes |

God expressly hates adultery. God expressly forbade adultery in the Ten Commandments that he gave to Moses. This point is greatly emphasized by the wisest man that ever lived, King Solomon. The consequences of adultery is destruction and death. God says the one that commits adultery is not wise. In his foolishness he will eventually be destroyed. This is also a great call to moral responsibility. Do not covet another man’s wife. Look away, take your mind from her, discipline yourself, or otherwise at the end, when you are dying painfully and you rue your wasted life, you will come to realisation whether it was worth it at all to go after another man’s wife. When you are wasted and about to die from your actions and their consequences, you will have clarity. Exodus 20:14 Thou shalt not commit adultery. Proverbs 6:32 But whoso committeth adultery with a woman lacketh understanding: he that doeth it destroyeth his own soul. Ezekiel 18:20 The soul that sinneth, it shall die. |

All sins are equally bad and lead to eternal damnation in Hell.But the worst sin is blasphemy against the Holy Spirit which cannot be forgiven. Ref.(Matthew 12:31) |
