So many people are waking up to the lies of religion, especially online. But in reality this country is still neck-deep in religion. Today is Sunday and my street is empty, just few people and shops open, the rest don go church.

Nevertheless, a lot of people are now starting to ask questions, especially this Gen Z. It is only a matter of time, the days of religion in Africa are numbered.

The true story of the miracle of the five loaves of bread and two fishes is this:

It was actually five thousand two hundred loaves of bread and five thousand two hundred fishes to feed five thousand two hundred people.

1, The miracle took place in a coastal city, because of the access of fish. One fish cost ½ drahl then. ¾ drahl weights up to one load of bread.

2, the Baker and fisherman gave Jesus the meal to bless because he was quite popular at that time

3, the people fed were men, women and children who were fleeing persecution from the Roman Empire. Their IDP camps were situated near the coastal city, so Jesus and his disciples frequented the place to pray and fish.

4, Jesus taught a message of humility, generosity and the ability to remember your brothers, even in hard times.

5, the writer made an error. He probably didn't want to repeat "five thousand two hundred", so he literally wrote it as unit, instead of a whole. Check the transliteration of "five" "thousand" and "two" in Amharic, them come back here.

When you want to read your Bible, read it with deep reasoning, logic and the ability to put two and two together. Don't swallow hook,line and sinker because you think you know more than those who wrote the bible.
