hello guys, please the date of birth on my waec certificate is different with the one on the transcript and the school asked me for an affidavit to correct it, how do i get this affidavit. i submitted an affidavit to show my real date of birth but it was not accepted. is there a way to get this particular affidavit relating to waec? please someone should help me

Between University of Aberdeen, University of East Anglia and University of Bradford, which one will be better in terms of:

1. Flexible fee payment (allowing installment payment)

2. Job availability

I will appreciate your guidance on this.

I applied for student visa paying the expedited fee of 500+

I did my biometrics on Dec 9 and got a request for employer documents which I provided via email on Dec 12.

Today, I got an email for an interview for Dec 30.

Question - Can I call to see if my interview can be rescheduled to a date earlier than 30th since I paid for premium? Flights in January are crazily expensive and would like to get this sorted and travel last week in December.

Thanks for any guidance on how to proceed.

Currently holding University of Aberdeen and Bradford offer. Bradford is asking for CAS and enrollment fee totaling up to 50% after initial deposit for CAS. i think Aberdeen too is like that.


There are Jobs opportunities in Glasgow scotland. quite far to Aberdeen.

I will not encourage any foreign student on a limited resource to buy a car, get SIA licence yes but buying a car will cost you more. Road tax, insurance, petrol, parking cost will likely drain your limited income.

U didn't do what ur sch asked u to do.... Check d email ur sch sent and follow the instructions... Get 2 notarized affidavits,,1 stating ur correct age and d oda one stating u are d owner of the Waec result... I think that was the instruction

thank you for your response… i already have the notarized one showing my date of birth, so i’m going to get the one stating i’m the owner of the result.. i can get this waec one the same place i got the previous one right? thank you again

I’m considering sponsoring my wife for a masters program in the UK.
I would appreciate if I can get insights on the basic and necessary steps to take.

Importantly I would like to know if it’s best to do it myself or I use an agency.
Personally, I would rather do it myself and channel whatever money I’m supposed to pay any agency to the tuition fee.

Go through first and second page of this thread, all the info you need is there.

You definitely do not need an agent to do anything for you. The UK visa application process is straightforward.

Consider MRes or PhD for your wife. The admission process is what you can handle yourself including visa application

The UK student visa process was not affected by the policy changes, the new policy touches on benefits of studying in the UK especially for those who planned to stay back after studies or travel with family.

What was the actual reason for the refusal?

Exactly i just did my interview, was asked for extra document one hour after the interview, fingers crossed

I know 2 people that got their visas after the interview, they even asked one for extra supporting documents and he finally got it… note: both were mature students..

The institution or company that awarded the scholarship does not meet the requirement set by UKIV. Those that were issued visas with the same scholarship letter may receive a letter from UKIV regarding this. The case worker that processed their visa did not pay close attention to the requirement
