How Do Nigerians Cope In The Night With Noisy Sound Of Generators by guobe(op): 11:12pm On Feb 09
You having your own inverter won't stop you from hearing the noise of your neighbours generator set.
The noise can be quite excruciating.
Nigerians are really trying, how do they sleep.
This can't happen in advanced countries as it is termed noise pollution and the police can be called to pick the person causing noise pollution.
Someone wants to sleep by 11 pm but can't because of generator noise.
You won't really blame the neighbours as we have a failed system in Nigeria where anything goes.
A 66 years old country without any hope of giving its citizens constant electricity.

In some good compounds, generator houses is built for the tenants. And its usually far-away from the main apartments to decrease the noise.

Meta said you should talk to your neighbours as if they can hear you. That's how you know artificial intelligence from real. Have we tried talking to our governments? How Nigerians became comfortable with this thing is insane, some people use industrial generators that work with diesel. Now everyone is going solar too because of government negligence. Tinubu himself changed the power supply at the Villa to solar. GCFR
Generator Commander of the Federal Republic.

Generator noise is not the loudest of your problems, it is the fumes that are the silent killers and probably one of the reasons for the increase in cancer cases in Nigeria without us knowing. Polynuclear Aromatic Hydrocarbons (PAHs) are a major component of fuel generator fumes. Carcinogenicity of these compounds has long been established. Those pollutants are not safe for your air and direct contact with your skin, water and environment. Imagine sitting behind the exhaust of a vehicle. That's what we are doing to ourselves.
If you cannot sleep well because of the noise, your health is affected. If you cannot hear well, because of the noise, your hearing is affected.
If you cannot breathe well because of the smoke, your health is affected. If you have the money, switch to solar but what sense does that make if you still live in an environment where your neighbours still use generators? You see why Nigerians need to solve this problem as a collective instead of doing I beta pass my neighbour competition.

Who did this to us undecided All I want to say is they don't even care about us

It's abnormal. Not every Nigerian likes the noise and they shouldn't! Nigerians grew up in the 70s and the power corporation will inform us through radio that light was going off. What's posh there? This must be Stockholm syndrome where the insane is now seen as sane.

Generator Republic is not sane. I wish you well as you cope.

Imaging scrambling to be AI merchant and software developer when we have not solved the laws of faraday and Tesla and Thomas Edison

We find ways to feel suffering is a good trait

I just hope I can build my own city where the basic of life is replicated.

Nobody gets "picked because of noise pollution" you get a warning, afterwards, you get another and another and then a fine. On weekends, loud parties in the neighbourhoods don't start getting a hit until midnight, fr.

Church noise worst oh, from horrible voices singing, to English that can make you burst into laughter while meditating, and very funny billing formats that pastors use to bill their members.

Worst raise to power 2 if the church is an upcoming or an MFM type, those guys dey vex dey punch walls and shout at the top of their voice when praying.
