Scarcity is not a myth.Resources are finite. To eat you must work. Before the discovery/invention of agriculture, finding food involved walking for miles to gather edible fruits or hunt wild animals, today you need money to buy the food farmers have toiled to produce. Every manufactured item you use e.g soap, clothes, perfume etc, someone worked hard to produce it.Working hard to earn money is your way of contributing to society while being able to enjoy what other people also worked hard to produce. Money made it possible for people to specialise and become doctors, teachers, cement distributors etc, without money, you will only consume what you produced yourself. Hence, money as a medium of exchange made modern society and civilisation possible. Namaster: |

Namaster:Your submission is an enlightened one as well. Resources on the planet were designed by the creator to be sufficiently sufficient to cater for mankind no matter how numerous we become but the many "natural" forces we have to contend with have made us selfish and wicked to each other. Even the democracy and capitalism pushed by the West only serve to keep this demonic world order. Until we understand that this is the reason God sent Jesus to this planet to establish His own world order, i.e. the Kingdom of Heaven, which promises peace of mind, justice, fairness, love, etc in this world and in the world to come. Worldly desires and passions are ever changing and unending, and cannot deeply satisfy man or give him peace. We will keep wanting and desiring them every day and week in this rat race until we exhaust our bodies without finding peace. Only God, through Jesus, by the power of the Holy Ghost, can supply true peace and satisfaction to whoever desires them |

muyico:I swear, with the little I have here which I give to some of them close acquaintances, na them they ask me my genotype and I play dumb as if I don't know why they are asking. You might be a good guy infact the best guy but money magnifies that and it allows people to even see you for that good guy you are. |

Omoawoke:How do you measure goodness, love, contributions to development and knowledge? It easy for the human mind to count money…Yeah! There is flaw but money is still the best for the measure and rewards for efforts. If you really are making contributions to the society, money will find you. It will take it time to move and get to you but it will. |
| Re: When You Tell A Nigerian Girl You Don't Have Money by narite: 3:39pm On Feb 12 |
higgs:Some people are just to lazy to even chew the food you put in their mouth. |
| Re: When You Tell A Nigerian Girl You Don't Have Money by Omoawoke(m): 4:04pm On Feb 12 |
narite:Yes, my comment is not meant to be understood… your brain power can’t process it, (not an insult in any way ) but that’s just the fact… like I said, all humans were born into that system so it would be so difficult to comprehend. Just like how it’s almost impossible for animals to understand the concept of looking into a mirror and seeing their reflection |
| Re: When You Tell A Nigerian Girl You Don't Have Money by Omoawoke(m): 4:07pm On Feb 12 |
higgs:I hope you won’t say this and go back home to pray to make heaven.. I really do hope you don’t believe in the concept of heaven… where all humans would die and then go to heaven to live in gold mansions and live abundantly forever and ever … dancing and singing to God. I also do hope that you never believed in Adam and Eve story and the garden of Eden.. |
| Re: When You Tell A Nigerian Girl You Don't Have Money by narite: 4:14pm On Feb 12 |
Omoawoke:Anyways, the system has got rules and laws which is open to us all like a book. I am sure with your brain power you are more than capable to understand (this is no complement; I am stating the obvious) how the system works, using it to our advantage and Making our life as great as it can be. |
