Let me just take this as fake news. What is the business of USA with the Chinese doing mining in Nigeria? Trump better no pass his boundaries. No be everything you go dey do over sabi about Sovereignty , those who close to him should be reminding him that Modified: Some people don't get it , what's the moral justification USA have been using to be condemning things they mastered/practiced? USA don't do anything that will never benefit them. Never Exactly same stunt they pulled in Congo all in the name of Cobalt. |

We need to get something straight. The United States in North America, is proposing a bill to target Chinese mining in Nigeria, Africa. Someone should please make it make sense. This is a combo of imperialism and colonialism. Meaning of our economy decides to shift from the USD to booster our trade, we will be annihilated. Slavery never stopped, the dynamics was what changed. I think the Nigerian government need to deliberate if it’s still worth it to celebrate Independence Day. |

The FG has failed to protect it's citizen. U.S. is doing the job for them. All meaningful legislation in the last 3 months has been from the U.S. and the OPTUS. Trump is your President. FG is only affirming by using the word "Cooperation" in every move by the U.S. Since the U.S. came, all crazy bills by the Senate has been suspended. The more you look the less you see. I just pity INEC when they will face them. Mounting pressure is what they will keep doing. They already have their to do list. Data boys and laptop crew thinks it is their Oga's strategy, they don't realize it is a rising tide. The storm is coming. Prepare boys, be prepared |

Clearly besides looting Nigerians can't do anything for themselves....why don't we allow the US run Nigeria for sometime? We have government at every level whose interest is how much they can steal but are clueless in service delivery and problem solving.......is there a curse on black people? If it's religion without spirituality you will see them... |

Our government is an embodiment of failure, I could the government of the United States be the doing things right for us. The Nigeria's government failure didn't start today but has been with us for decades. Indeed the African Giant |

I believe banditry in the North is inextricably linked to illegal mining. The the foreign miners provide weapons for protection and dislogement of locals so as their operations could be unhindered. Its not only the chinese ppl but lebanese and others you cant identify. They uses aircraft to supply weapons and carry the gold and other valueable stones back to their country. This is what what i heard my ppl saying. |

DeltaBachelor:I don't no that people are so naive. Who do you think are responsible for most of the crisis in the north. Anywhere chinos are mining that community is embroidered in crisis, insecurity. |

HacheNoire:It is just a proposed bill which is subject to further consideration by our legislature. India, Brazil, Nigeria are seen by global powers as emerging powers of the next decade due to their abundant mineral / human capacity. America is trying to sustain her hegemony in Africa. And if that will happen, China's grip on the continent must be undermined. It's a a geo-political chess game. That is why USA have been trying to carefully negotiate terms on issues with the Nigerian govt instead of force. Trump has realized that calling Africa shithole was an error. America must strive to sustain it's control of all regions. Any global power that must control Africa, must find a way to control Nigeria. |
