A young lady has narrated how she blocked a married man who traveled all the way from Abuja to her state to spend Valentine’s Day with her, despite her repeatedly telling him to simply send the gifts because she had an exam.

According to the lady, she had known the man for a while. She explained that he is well-connected, and because she needed “connection,” she initially began chatting with him as just a friend. However, along the line, the man started expressing romantic interest in her and even told her he wished he had met her before marrying his wife.

On the eve of Valentine’s Day, the man invited her to Abuja to collect her Valentine’s gift. He made it clear that he would not take her to his personal home because of his wife and children, but instead planned to lodge her in a hotel where he would “take good care of her.” The lady further disclosed that the man is about 56 years old.

She declined the invitation to Abuja. In response, the man decided he would travel down to her state instead to give her the Valentine’s gift. She rejected that idea as well and suggested that he simply send her the Valentine’s money. However, the married man insisted on seeing her, claiming that meeting in person would strengthen their bond. She refused again, explaining that she was preparing for exams and would not be available for such activities.

Despite her objections, the man reportedly traveled eight hours to her town, Otukpo.
According to the lady, the moment he informed her that he had arrived in her town, she immediately blocked him. She also shared screenshots of their WhatsApp messages, revealing that after she blocked him there, he began calling her through regular phone calls.
