I almost didn’t go to the bachelor party.

Two months before my wedding, everything was already perfect—venue booked, invitations sent, families introduced. She was the woman I was certain I’d spend my life with.

The party started harmless enough—music, drinks, laughter thick with nostalgia. Then, sometime after midnight, my friends decided to “upgrade” the night. I protested, half-heartedly at first, then more seriously—but they’d already made the call.
